Will CACI listing prevent me from enlisting?

Due to accusations by a former friend of mine I am now listed on the Child Abuse Central Index. Unfortunately I've read that getting removed can take up to a few years and lots of money ( attorney's, paperwork, etc.), and I'm pretty much flat broke. I've been planning on joining either the Air Force or the Army, but since this listing shows up on background checks ( or so I've read ) I'm worried that I won't be able to enlist now. Any recruiters from California that know anything about this?

BTW, I was never charged, convicted, or arrested.

wow your name being on that list I think will keep you from joining. but Im sure theirs a waiver for it just make sure you talk to a recruiter that's willing to go the extra mile for you . good luck
