I think that in let's say 30-40 years from now, historians will say that 9/11 was the start of WW3.

I would not doubt it. Israel just had a big Military exercise, a "Show of Force". Might very well be. I think Israel would make the first strike, then Iran would get sympathy from Russia and China...thats not good...

Keep this in mind once and if Israel is out then it will be like, USA, Britian, Australia, France, Denmark without their heads, the war will be over with in a few day !

Wen it comes to who will win then statistically Iran will, because of China and Pakistan, China is the worlds second largest power and Pakistan is the worlds 5 largest power, both are nuclear countries, and Saudi Arabia can play a very important role, keep in mind that USA or anyother allied country will not be able to run their tanks with out the petrol provided by Saudis, eh, unless they switch it to solar !

Anyways, I wish that we could make peace War is a very bad thing, really dont want WW3 to take place. Sure there are " Hey ur not better then us thing " but then again that happens, we are just humans its just in our nature taking it NON-Seriously is the thing that our leaders should learn, and controlling this kinda speech our leaders should learn !

It all depends on who sides with who. Many people have absolutly no f-ing clue what an actual World War includes. A war between Israel and Iran could simpily be just that a war between Iran and Israel. Currently there are about 40 conflicts that only include 2 sides.

If Iran was to attack Israel first, because they wanted to eliminate Israel, I would have to believe a majority of the worlds nations would side with Israel or remain neutral. If Israel attack Iran first it is possible that other Middle East nations would side with Iran. Mostly the major nations of the world probably not get involved. While the USA is a major arms dealer to Israel, Russia is the same to Iran, but neither I think would want to get involved fearing the other would.

Time after time the Mullahs in charge of the Iranian Goverment have vowed to "wipe Israel off the map" war is bound to happen sooner or later.

Just acouple of days ago hundred of Israeli F16/F15s simulated an attack on a long range attack such as that of an Nuclear Enrichment Plant. Now Israel has balls, acouple of years ago Irsael attacked/destroyed a Suspected Syrian Nuclear Plant.

If Israel does plan to attack Iran, sh*t is going to hit the fan. Iran deems itself the sole superpower of the middle east region, but it doesnt have nuclear capabilites like Israel. Iran has numerouse missiles pointed in Isreal's direction, same goes with Israel.

Now if Iran has ties with Russia, China, North Korea, Venezuela and recently just signed an defense pact with Syria. Also dont you forget Hamas, Hezbollah and other militant groups that are anti-zionism/israel.

Israel would be backed by the U.S and that means we would dragg in the British and numerous Nato allies.

Now if Iran is attacked it would just retaliated against Israel but also against Coalition troops in Iraq/Afgan .

Another thing is that in the world of Islam Iran is viewd highly of and when war starts you think the radical muslims in America/Western countries would just sit and watch it happen? Hell No, expect anarchy, mayhem etc...

But i hope war doesnt happen cause common gas would be $200 a barrel, who the hell can I fill up the escalade ?? ;[

World War III will not begin with Israel and Iran but they will eventually become participants in it. It will not be between Russia and the USA. It will be between China and the USA.

The Spratly Islands is a group of islands, atoll, reef, etc. on the southeastern side of the South China Sea nearer the Philippines and Borneo. It is rich in oil and gas resources estimated to be greater than the reserve of Kuwait. At present, China, Taiwan and Vietnam claim it wholly, and the Philippines, Malaysia and Brunei, partly. The Holy Spirit said that the Philippines will be like the wick of the lamp. Once the wick is lit, then the lamp will be on or aglow.
World War III will be a war using technology. The US will be dragged into the Spratly conflict because of its Mutual Defense Treaty with the Philippines, one of the claimants, and maybe because of the US's present flagging economy and the high price of oil. The allies of the US would be dragged into the conflict as well.

Did you know that the Panama Canal is now controlled and operated by the Chinese? Can the Chinese not make it a military base which will make mainland US within easy reach from its warplanes and nuclear missiles?

We know Russia has sufficient oil and natural gas to flex its muscles. Together with Iran, they obatain a significant portion of the world's oil supply. Russia has constantly claimed that Iran has not violated any international laws (concerning nuclear armament) and that any attack on Iran would be unacceptable. Honestly, Russia is sick of America's ambitious escapades. First, America (and NATO) humiliated Russia by attacking Yugoslavia, a close ally with the former Soviet Union. Second, America is constantly spreading its sphere of influence throughout the middle east. For example, it has numerous bases (air bases, naval bases) in the persian gulf and it attacks or threatens to attack any middle eastern country at will (via Israel also). If the Soviet Union was still intact, these military offensives would be unacceptable, especially on Russia's side of the globe. Thirdly, Russia is furiated at NATO's plan to build a missle defense shield around Russia. President Putin called it a legitamite chess move and vowed to take action. Lastly, we know that presdient Putin is an ambitious soviet-style leader that seeks to restore Russia's lost glory.

A Russia vs America scenario would not be feasible since America is much stronger in all aspects. But if China sided with Russia and Iran...We know China is booming economcally and militarily. Also, although China and America have a good economic understanding, they really resent each other. America is the only obstacle in China's way of annexing Taiwan.

How much longer can America and Israel defy the world and take whatever actions they deem necessary without consequence or repercussion?

Read todays news on their alledging that the USA attempted to assassinate Iran President Ahmookijad this spring.

Yes. There are many treaties in those two countries. America and NATO tend to side with Isreal while China and Russia tend to side with Iran. I truley believe that most world leaders aren't stupid enough to use full out nuclear warfare against each other. Tatical nukes might be a different matter. However Iran is the exctption. They're probably try to nuke Israel and dare the rest of the world to challange them. I beleive it will happen in the next five years. Things in that region of the world are increasingly unstable. It will all climax with some grand show down between Israel and Iran. There is also something that speaks of "a great army from the north to exterminate god's chosen people". Weahter you believe it or not this could talk about a Russian attack against Israel becaue of a treaty they hold with Iran. If Russia comes into the mix, the here in the US, there will be a draft and every National Guard and Reservist will go active. Iran and Israel will definatley start something big.

They may go to war, but a World War requires most of the world to be drawn into the fighting. Syria will come to Iran's aid but that is about it. Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the rest of the small Gulf states will sit it out. You will get some countries that will cut off ties with Israel and try something in the UN, but that will be about it. Iran does not have a large network of Allies that would be willing to come to their aid.
