The U.S. won't be destroyed in the sense of physically demolished, but the few hits that are within the realm of eventual possibility would devastate the U.S. economy and the political system. The only scenario that would elicit a positive response to your question, is "only after an accidental launch by Russian ICBMs." Russia's stockpile of nukes are sufficient to destroy the US....of course that would mean their utter destruction as well. The Russians are rational enough not to launch a pre-emptive strike, since they follow the MAD doctrine, as we do. Their aging early warning systems, however, will most likely trigger an accidental launch with catastrophic consequences for the world.

My opinion is no. There's so many other ways to destroy America. The Hurricanes last year did a real good job in the Gulf. Have you ever seen the movie Outbreak where a virus kills the whole village and comes to America through a plane. I believe a virus or God himself will likely be the ones to destroy America. Also Americans themselves are doing a good job at destroying this country. Like all the shootings and gangs and drugs. Drugs is the number one thing that will destroy us.

The world is going to be the like the Star Wars world. Watch Star Wars and you know what I mean...people are going to be all deformed hence them being aliens, the world will go to crap with a bunch of druggies, deformed gangsters, and bounty hunters lurking for any possible way to make money, the normal people will be transfered to a planet, eventually an army will be established as well as laser guns, and soldiers with storm trooper armor (The new Army and Marines), star ships will circle and protect our new normal planet (which will be the new Navy/Air Force) and soon you will get a bunch of ex priests learning how to fight and they obtain the power of God (aka the force)... and there you go...all because a bunch of Nukes the universe will be all mess up....
