If it's military, I don't think it'll be a great issue since USA still have better technology and innovation in nuclear weapon and other weapons. But nobody can predict on this.

If it's economy, everyone knows that the economy shift has gone to Asia. Just simply look at those 200 billion deficit and how much the USA complained about China's currency should answer your question.

If it's about the population, China beat USA long time ago. One billion people.... holy cow!

If it's about musics, Nah USA still have much better and popular musics than those of China.

Considering how many citizens (as well as paramilitary groups) in the US own handguns/rifles, invading and conquering the US with ground troops is near impossible.

The only way the USA can be defeated is by crushing it economically, causing it to self-destruct. This is also not very likely, despite the fact that we're in our biggest budget deficit EVER.

Nukes: We have lots too. If we're going down, be damned sure we're taking our aggressors down with us. But remember, in thermonuclear warfare, no one wins.

Depends what you mean by conquer - as China now owns most US debt, expect to see China start buying up US companies will all those dollars it has> And then in 50 years or less most corporations will be Chinese owned and managed

China & the U.S. are on somewhat good terms (even though the PotUS didn't get anywhere with Hu.)

We snd all our jobs there, and they send those poorly made products back here to the U.S. for us to buy at Wal-Mart. When they break, because they were made cheaply, we will return to Wal-Mart & purchase replacement products, also made in China, which will last just as long. And such the cycle continues.

So, basically, the U.S. & China are too financially dependant on each other to ever go to war.

yes it will happen if usa stands on there butt and does nothing about it currently we are the leader still howeve china is a second and rising and we arent rising so the best way to do this is to become like the cold war were russia and china were loading up at arms race. With all the problems the usa are having the best thing they could do is stop sending jobs over there and stop buying so many of there goods is it that hard for us to make these products and the best solution is to start spending more on the deffence budget that way we are ready for them

Future is unknown and can not be predicted but it does leave the edge to see the Possibility that might result from what the People ,the Nations and even Superpowers like USA does in the present time.I think its quite possible that one day China might overtake the superpowers like USA.The biggest reason i c is that USA is failing socialy.The family system in USA is nothing in comparison to china. Its a matter of time when Fortune will decides this change coz a Nation ( like China) build on strong values and attitudes can give a tough fight....No matter who the superpower is.

I saw it happen already in a dream...they have a 3 day to 10 years (max) dependable history. China would prepare for a land war and set sleeper cells...just one per major city. Promise those cells money and family protection....drop just 2 nuclear bombs away from where they land. But they would land in the thousands, and kill the children first. I saw a mother shot while carrying her little girl and made it to a closed door. The Art of War...the dream...kill the children...parents have nothing to live for...promise protection to a FEW...and there is NO TRUST. It was a slaughter. It was a nightmare where even the stars in Heaven changed.
