There is too much money being pumped in to bases in Iraq right now for any type of pull-out to even be considered. I was in Balad, Iraq for a year and I saw more steel structure buildings being built. I do think that parts of iraq will be permanent stations in the future. |

Even if you get a democrate as president they wont be out by then.
With all of their claims of troops out by 08 they all back peddled on that claim at the last debate and couldnt even promise to be out by 2013.
only one said they would do it.
They need to be there until the mission is complete. I would go back if it were possible |

You are fooling yourself.
You didn't fall for Democrat Lies, did you???
They have no intention of bringing the troops home.
The Democrats pulled that Hoax on the ignorant & gullible Democrat Voters. |

I suspect the troops will be there until at least 2010. |

Where did you ever get that idea? You have really got to stop listening to Harry Reid. He does not run the war. The Democrats in the Congress and Senate do not run the war. They do not make tactical or strategic decisions. They pass budgets and approve spending. When they told everyone different during the last elections, they were lying. The fact that so many people believed them shows how poorly many know how our government works. After watching a very (admittedly) frustrated Nancy Pelousi give an interview, I wonder I she knows? |

It is extremely unlikely that U.S. involvement in Iraq will end in 2008. In the most recent Democratic debate the three front runners (Clinton, Obama and Edwards) all suggested that they couldn't guarantee troop withdrawls in 2008 despite their stated desire to withdraw immediately. |

deployment is a fact of life in the military. Even if we left Iraq tomorrow he could still be deployed to other locations in the world. Dont make any assumptions or plans until the chicken hatches. |

You are fooling yourself. They need to stay there and finish things and train the Iraqi Army to protect themselves after we do leave. |
