The legion itself might not mind but you'll undoubtedly p*** off a lot of old soldiers. WHAT are you thinking of here? I urge you to reconsider. Why do you want to be ornery and contrary. Well good luck to you anyway, (I'm always polite even when answering what I consider an off or null question.

The mission of the American Legion is to support both troops and vets. If you wish to make a political statement, do not involve the legion. There are legion members who are both for and against the war but they agree to keep the politics out of it. Use another jacket for protest.

No shame in your soul whatsoever and no respect for the men and women who risk their lives to keep our freedom alive, why would you put a coffin in the jacket in the first place?

Isn't that in poor taste? Are you serious about that are are you seriously trying to offend someone?

I will answer incase you are just asking and not meaning to sound dumb....the answer is Hell yes they will be offended. I would be offended by that, and I would quit the American Legion if they supported it.
