Not as long as our fearless president can send them over to other places based on a lie. His cohorts agree with him so what the hey. Some repuke's are begining to put a little space between Bush and them so there might be a sqeak of hope. I hope.

NO because they only support the WAR. They are always telling us to support the WAR. I however support the troops, they are just doing their job. I totally support the TROOPS, not WAR in which advocates murder and death.

If the troops believe in what they're doing, why can't you?? Do you understand that to cut and run now would mean that all those men and women died in vain?? There's a job to finish. We have to stabilize that country. We've already captured Al Qaeda factions there and we need to clear the rest out. Just last week, we caught a major leader in Baghdad. Every post like this just brings morale down. This is what our military does. Let them finish the job before the job ends up on American soil.

We do not have the best military the world has ever seen just so that we can cut and run any time there is a little bit of danger. I hate to see soldiers killed, they signed up to kill and they know that the possibility of getting killed comes with the territory.

Taking them out of harm's way puts you back into harm's way. It's just that the men and women in the U.S. armed forces accept the role they have been given while people like you just sit around spewing anti-bush rhetoric.

The Republicans support the idea that fundamentalist muslims pose a threat to the world, because of that threat, they are obligated to use military force where diplomacy fails.

Had the UN taken a more assertive stance against these terrorists from the begining, The U.S. wouldn't have had to create and deploy a fighting force alone. Instead the UN has allowed resolutions to be ignored by many of the major middle-eastern countries. If you do some research you would see that it was the league of nations which failed to act during Germany's mobilization before World War 2, likewise the UN has allowed many of these countries to do what they want at their leisure. The U.S. has deemed these middle eastern countries dangerous and has dealt with their threat accordingly.

War may not be pretty, but it is, unfortunately, often times necessary.
