Militarily No. Socially Yes. It will be between those who believe in a free America under the Constitution against the Socialist that would replace the Constitution and Bill of rights, with a Peoples Socialist Democracy that replaces the Bill of rights with what they think is right. The present regime of Obama,Pelosi and Reid will bankrupt this nation and reduce it to a third rate power. Think it is not so, take a good look at Iceland. That is us in one or two years from now.

Well, Democrats don't have guns and are complete pansies. So it really wouldn't be fair. |

Obama is a radical with connections to terrorists who supports killing babies, so it may happen. |

I hope so, then there will be a hell of a lot less emotionally charged dumbasses in this country... seriously though, I kinda doubt it, but it's possible. |

No. The party lines actually used to be a lot worse then they are today. And in Europe there are even bigger differences in some countries. I think we will be fine. (As in in some countries you have socialist against monarchists.)
I don't agree with the answer below me but it's damn funny. |

No there want be another civil war. There is to many chickens in our country of today. We had real fighting men in our country. When the north and south fought. We just have a small few good men today. |

Anything is possible, but I don't see any reason to believe this would happen. Democrats and Republicans aren't shooting each other in the streets. GWB is cooperating with Obama and doing his best to make his transition to power easy and safe. If the Democrats in congress get extreme they will lose seats in 2 years. Relax. |

Canada will annex New England, and California, and we'll call the rest of the U.S. Jesusland.

Bill Maher joked about it; he said that we shouldn't have fought to keep the States united. In his opinion, the Northern states would have been much better off if they had just let all of us Southerners go our own separate way.
There won't be another Civil War; Palin's husband's political party does want to secede, and Palin herself spoke at one of their meetings last year. However, unless she is elected President in 2012, there isn't a snowball's chance of it really happening. If it did, I doubt if anybody would fight very hard to keep Alaska, as long as they kept selling us the oil. |

I doubt that will ever happen. There have been idiots on both sides of the political spectrum since there was a political spectrum. They just all happen to hang out here.
The moderates from both sides don't come here because it's pointless to ask a question you don't intend to get a real answer too. For example....
Bush is like so dumb lolzers?

No...
Nobody would vote to have their state "leave the union," so to speak, and Americans would not be willing to kill each other again like they did in the mid 1800's...(at least...militarily...) |
