Of course not, I don't even know what's the problem between Taiwan and the Usa. But hell no, first of all look at all the items in American, most of them say
"made in china".
;l
America needs china economically, so no way.
Anyways it has much lethal problems such as the middle east, illegal immigrant problems, and the war against terrorism. |

They are trying to make it uneconomical to have war between the 2 countries. There always is a possibility that someone will get a wild hair up their ___ just for kicks. |

Let's hope not. I know many American companies that do business in China, hopefully if we can interact in peaceful enterprises, perhaps we can also find peaceful solutions to our military differences. |

God I hope not! I don't think there will be a war. Explain how you see the "problem" of Taiwan? We don't have a "problem" with them. The way I see it is that they want to be a sovreign country of their own, free and independent of anyone. Do you think that you own them? The land? Would you want to rule them knowing that they don't want to be ruled? From what I can gather, you can't even speak against your own government? In my eyes you are not free men. Our government isn't perfect either. I don't like President Bush! I wish we had another President. Can you say anything about your President without being put in jail? Not so long ago there was a generation of young Chinese people who longed to be free. The world watched as your government ran over them with tanks in the street. Would you run over the Taiwanese? Finally, NO, I don't think we should have invaded Iraq. I know you wonder about that. How do you see that war? I welcome your email. |

It's up to China. If they continue with their belligerent imperialist enslavement mentality towards Taiwan, it will lead to trouble.
Like the Arab world and Israel, China's failure to recognize Taiwan is a continuous source of problems. Perhaps Hu can find something better to do than threaten Taiwan and imprison and murder dissidents. |

No.
You have to understand that most of us in the U.S. can't even point to Taiwan on a map. Very few of us can say much about what is going on with Taiwan and China.
Even if a war started - Our leaders would have to explain the reason to us. |

When push comes to shove the USA will back off. Why? We can't even beat a group of flintstone type of fighters in Iraq. How are we supposed to beat China? |

No. The war between China and USA will come about when China calls in their debt and we can't pay. Again this is the result of people voting and politicians. |

No, General Douglas MacArthur wanted to nuke and invade mainland Communist China during the Korean War but was stopped by President Harry S Truman. Anyway if the US was going to go to war with China it would have been then not now. If the US started a war with the Chinese now both countries would be annihilated in a nuclear holocaust. If mainland China started a war with the U.S., the same results. |

When the chinese nationalists fled to formosa and set up thier puppet government. They were recognised as the chinese government by the un this was because the free world would nt recognise a communist rule. The fact remains formosa regardless to a name change is part of china. No amount of sabre rattling can change thatYou can bury your head in the and say the commos don'trepresent china formosa does,You can argue and threaten'bully and bribe but if china decides to bring formosa into the fold no onecan stop her |

There will be a war, but no over Taiwan. China will attack the U.S. at an opportune time like when we are spread really thin. China's goal is to become the new world superpower, unopposed. |

I really hope there is no war between these two nations, if it would occure I believe it could scale quickly to a world war. Lets think of the economic preasure that every country would enter and feel obligated to take a side.
I believe that more than the Taiwan issue, the only real reason for was would be China not letting its currency fluctuate freely, this making american and world producers not competable with their products, plus all the dumping China is know for, creating tension between these two nations, lets not forget Americas trade deficit, making the U.S. economy dependable of China´s.
It´s just the way I see it from down here in Mexico. |
