Will there ever be a World War 3 (WW3) and if so what do you think will happen?

I heard a quote once that said I don't know what weapon WWIII will be fought with but WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

Got news for you - it's happening right now. Iraq is the prelude to the 'official' war much like the Spanish Civil War and the rape of Manchuria were the prelude to WWII. Only problem is, the American people have lost the will to fight and there's nobody to come to *our* rescue. Better start studying your Koran now, because barring a miracle conversion is your only hope of survival.

Remember - during World Wars 1 and 2 - they didn't call them that - they were just "big wars". The names came after - given by historians.

As to what will happen? I like Einstein's assesment: After the second world war, he was asked what kind of weapons would be used in the third world war.

Einstein said "I don't know . . . but I know what kind will be used in the Fourth world war . . . ..

Haha, many religions say so. If you'd like to know read up on your prophecies such as, Nostradamus, the Bible, and the Koran. That's the religious side to it. If you'd rather take a more logical approach, watch the news. Or there are many Internet sights claiming to have great evidence of WW3. (Either prophetical or political)

I don't know what we will call it. The first two World Wars were fought to End all War. The next will be fought to End The World. We may never even get a chance to name it. Wars have been never ending all through time. We are just getting better/worse at it.

WWIII started on September, 11, 2001. The radical Muslims want to kill all the unfaithful. Take a minute to think how many countries are involved now.

America still has the most poweful Military on the planet, in fact we're the only super power left on the planet today. I don't think we're going to be seeing any "Mass Muslim conversion" because, people, lets be realistic here. Can a collection of arab armies prepare to march on powers such as the EU? or the USA? We've seen what air power can do to an un-prepared enemy in the Arab-Isreali wars. We would attain control of the skies very quickly, with things such as the F-A-22 Raptor. Can arab armies be transported across the atlantic ocean? No, its impossible for any country to invade the US Mainland with the USN guarding our coastline.

But in a nuclear war......everyone is going to lose.

Sorry mates, but this aint no war right now, you see it takes an act of congress to start a war, and well, Iraq is a police action, along with Afghanistan.

WWIII will begin when somebody pushes N. Korea to the edge and forces it to attack, that is when WWIII will begin.

And like another mate said, WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones

There has been some predictions that such a war will happen. Suprisingly it comes from the new united Europe. They attack the US to gain control of the world. No ONE country could attack, and win, at this time.

Iran will start WWIII as soon as they develop Nukes. They will launch the attack against Israel. The Liberals will say that they really haven't nuked Israel that its all Fox news propaganda. Then Iran will Nuke NYC and kill millions of Liberals and the remaining Liberals will blame it on the Republicans. Then Iran will Nuke Hyanisport MA killing Ted Kennedy and the Liberals will scream bloody murder and the Republicans will send Iran a thankyou card and then Nuke them back to the stone age on general prinicple.

China and Russia have not and will not give up sovereinty to global gov-eu. USA has no real military and in a real war we will face experienced, battle hardened trained, practiced wel, trained cruel career soldiers who eat-sleed and drink war, battle and survival. Pretty soon we are going to find out. Israel is going to nuke Egypt-blow up that tower and dam, built by Russia. The heat will be worse than fire and it will take 40 yrs to be safe from radiation. Egypt will be flooded when the dam blows.
