- we know that WW1 and WW2 has long occured and we know which war was it. (for those who didn't know, pls dun answer)
-WW3 started when 9-11 occured, Afghanistan and Iraq has been attacked. this involves many countries, wether they are offensively attacking or defensively defending their countries, or merely they are campaigning about WMD or campaigning about PEACE. the world are involved in many ways. (agree on this?)
-therefore, can we say that we are on the verge of WW4 as this crisis in middle east is escalating?

No, I do not think the war in Iraq and Afghanistan would be considered WW3. Most of the world refused to support the United States and Britain in the war against terror...
However I wonder if this conflict with North Korea could end up being WW3? |

yes it will be considered world war 4 because the cold war was world war 3. though there was no major conflict between the U.S and Russia but there were large conflicts such as Vietnam, the Cuban missile crisis, the Korean war, the Cambodian campaign, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran Iraq war etc which both sides were involved in so this conflict now should be considered world war 4 |

WW3 is not the war of terrorism. Look at the statistics and largeness of the previous two world wars, and you'll see that the war in the middle east isn't close to that. This is more like Gulf War 2.

i would disagree because the crisis in the middle east has been escalating in that region for centuries. i think that the world be hurt more economically then anything else, just take a look at the fluxuating stock market and the price of oil per barrell. we are about as deep as we can get with the middle east. we support israel and its right to defend itself, but we cannot afford to lose favor of all the arab countries. |

We are actually not currently in WW3 war was not declaired by congress, technically, however they did aprove action in the middle east, you could say it is the Gulf Conflict 2. |
