By D-Day landings on June 6, 1944. Soviets already marched across most of eastern Europe.
German army did not have enough man power to fight on that many fronts. Mussolini was more or less in charge of African campaign

obviously the USA played a vital role in ww2 but to suggest that they were solely responsible for allied victory is offensive to all those other allied soldiers that died during the war. both britain and the US were dependent on one another, if either had been defeated the other would follow. it was also the british who invented much of the technology used by the allies in ww2. for example, it was britain that invented radar, the allied jet engine, rolls royce engine used in mustang and spitfire, computers used to crack german naval codes (after a british destroyer captured the enigma machine). USA did provide more troops however. its impossible to give credit to one nation, both US and Uk played a vital role. |

Though I think it's important to note that our involvement was a huge boost to allied efforts in Europe and having the U.S. come in certainly tipped the balance, America was certainly not alone. In fact, we came in somewhat "late in the game". I'm proud to say we made a huge difference, but European and Soviet forces had already been fighting for some time.
It's equally inportant to note the substantial yet often forgotten allied contributions to the war in the Pacific as well. Considering such a common "America did it all" attitude, I'm glad to see so many Americans choose B. |

Without the US's industrial support the war would have been lost. If it was not for lend lease North Africa would have fallen. If that happen the German troops fighting there would have moved through the middle east, and seized its oil field. Turkey and Spain would have then sided with the Axis. The Germans would then have been able to invade the USSR through the Caucasus as well. The Russians then would have fell. |
