Are you joking!!!!!! compter games are nowhere near the Marines.

I'm not being mean my Nephew is A Lance Copral in the Royal Marines. The training is the most difficult you can expect.

For example a 30mile run with 60lb pack on your back and you have to complete it in a set time or they will back track you back to the begining of your training (It takes 26 weeks approx).
One of his friends broke a leg another lost 2 toes to frost bite.

I'm not trying to put you off just letting you know how difficult it is.

And actually, I should have dropped out of High School back in the 80s and gone into the Air Force as an officer, because of my scores on the Missile Command video game.

alright playing a video game and the real thing is diffrent. real life sniping is a, a lot of variables, live people, alive targets, adrenaline, accuracy with a real weapon is diffrent with your whole body instead of your thumbs and pinky! people would really die too, you could really die. theres no health packs to save you out there dudee.

There is a helluva lot of physical demand in the Marines,
I suggest you
- practice hunting and shooting (both handgun and rifle)
- lift weights and do some track athletics
- practice martial arts (preferably Judo or Sambo)
- take JROTC if possible.
....these are only a *few* things you can do to help you.

I think you may need more than that to determine if you would be a good Marine. You'll need to be physically fit and have a few other skills. I think it's going to take more than just beating a video game.

I would suggest meeting with a local recruiter if you are serious about being a Marine. I'm sure they would love to have you.

Well marine games are fun, there is a lot of blood sweat and tears that go into the marines, the marines are the most elite force of soldiers in my opinion that america has, so... you would have to be able to hold at least a hundered pounds and there is the possibilty of being shot. You also would have to pass the boot camp, i heard was really challenging.. It just depends what you want to be in the Marines, snipers, medics, heavy troopers etc. Good luck with your choice.

You shouldn't go into the Marines just because you're good at shooting things. You should go because you want to serve our country. You need to be in really good shape. I would talk with a recruiter to see what other skills you need.

If you want to be a US marine then prepare for the toughest training of your life. The British and US marines are the most well disciplined and most well trained soldiers since the spartan army.
