Would we be allowed to marry?

My fiance is 19 and in the Navy. I'm 17 and a junior in high school. I will be 18 in September. We've been together since he was 15 and I was 13. My mom and dad both will sign for me to marry him before he deploys in June. We would be getting married in Alabama. Therefore, I know he would not need his parents consent. Our only question is would he get masted for marrying someone who is almost 18, even with parental consent?

you will be fine. I was 20 and my wife was 17 when we got married. I was in the Army at the time. No one cared at all. It was legal in Hawaii. As long as your parents will sign a consent form.

We have been married for the 6 years now.

No he wont. The guys will probably make jokes but thats all. But why dont yall wait a a few more years? Whats the rush? Let this deployment be the test!its tough! But whatever you do, best of luck!

Finish high school and wait until the deployment is over before you get married. Then sit down and talk about what your future goals are. Do you want to go to college, can you afford it, how many kids, how long he wants to be in the Navy, etc... because while you are together now maybe 2 years from now you will not have the same goals. Now it can work but you both have to be ready and willing to make it work.

He will not get into trouble as long as it is a legal marriage and you are not a minor or if you are a minor there was parent consent.

WOW well if you have parental consent he will be fine BUUUUUUUT he needs to inform his unit commander of his intent this will only cover his butt. Just make sure you have your parents sign the proper forms giving you the ok to marry. I hope you guys have a wonderful life together
