Would you ask to speak to a supervisor in this instant or do you think it won't do any good?

So I applied for a position on USAJobs.com and one of the requirements was to send in your DD214 on long with a copy of your College Degree and Transcripts Official/Unofficial.

I sent all required documentation via e-mail (have copy of sent mail dated with time and date) prior to the job posting closing

So it closed on the 8th and I got an e-mail today saying I was enligible because I didn't provide a copy of my DD214.

I called the staffing number and they told me they didn't have it and there was nothing they could do unless I had proof they recieved it even after I told them I have a copy of the sent mail with their web address in the mail showing that it was sent on April 7th at 10:43 PM

Should I call back and ask for a supervisor because now I am not eligible for higher on a position I meet and exceeded all qualification and felt I would have a good chance of higher or is it pointless at this point?
Additional Details
So I called talked to a supervisor and waited on hold with him for 20 minutes until he shifted through the entire servers computers recycle bin and found the e-mail from the 7th that I sent and told me that I should be now consider and he would confirm with me on Monday after he brought it to the staffers attention.

Guess I'll know for certain on Monday

If you really want the position, that's the only way you're going to get it! Can't hurt to ask. Explain the situation to the hiring manager (or their supervisor if the hiring manager is the one who brushed you off), send them a copy of the dated email if they want it. The worst they can do is not hire you, but that's where your at now, so nothing lost by the effort.

If you can truly prove it then do it. However I highly recommend that you not try anything misleading!
