Would you hit a girl if ! READ?

Well i found out about year ago that my ex was sleeping with another man behind my back ,
Well Turns out after we get DNA Test done that the baby is not mine ,
I the issue i have with this is ,
I was at the Birth , She told me the baby was Def mine and that she wouldnt want to bring a baby in to this world with any other man but me , She said i would be the best dad in whole world !,
Anyway we split about 3 months after she had the baby and i know from then something wasnt right ,
So when i found out the DNA Test i totaly lost it and i know it was wrong but i was so upset about what she had did to me , as being a dad felt great ! but to hav to tell your Family and friends your not a dad is one of the hardest things i have ever done ,
But one night i was out in town and i went back to my ex partner's house and gave her slap for what she did ,
Anyway i ended up in court and got 200 hours Community Service for it since it was my first ever Crime , Im not bad person ,Just Upset

I know it was wrong for slapping her but she just found it all funny and would laugh in my face like it didnt matter , I loved this girl and are little boy and she basicly kicked me out and ran of with another man with loads of money , but to find out baby is not yours after you have got him so many things and to lose contact was very hard to deal with ,

I was wrong for hitting her but i dont regret it as she should have never done what she did and lie,

All us men want is the truth , If she told me the truth i could have then said to her ok , thanks for telling me , that doent matter as ill still be his dad ect .

I know alot girls hate guys that have hit girls but im not hiding from it , Im just saying that sometimes a woman and go over the edge and totaly mess a guys head up like my ex did me, Feel free to post a commant ,

Dont need to tell me i was wrong i know , But it made me feel hell lot better , I hated her laughting in my FACE.

Normally I would say that it's wrong to hit someone, but I can certainly understand why you slapped her. I'm sorry this happened to you.

First of all, be thankful for all the good things in your life, especially any supportive family.

You were wrong, but I can understand it. I feel sorry for you. You need a fresh new start, put it all behind you, look forward postively and try to learn anything postively that you can from this.

Just remember that you are healthy and can do anything you want. It's not like you just were hit with an IED and lost your legs. Just make good decisions from now on. Take things slow and methodically. Slow and steady wins the race. Good luck.

sounds to me like she totally deserved it. our ansetors faught for equal rights so if a woman can hit a man then why can a man not hit a woman!!it was totally justified, im wi u!!

Hell yeah! She sure as hell deserved it. I'm sure the criminal consequences were well worth it (although I would have let you off scot free if I was the judge). A lot of men would have punched her dead on the nose!

I'm not advocating hitting women, but this one had it coming!

I suppose it's understandable seeing that you were obviously upset by what happened. But to give her a slap at a later date seems like quite a bad idea. Especially as it couldn't be explained as "heat of the moment". I guess they were just making an example out of you for your first offence.

A thought for everyone... How much community service would she have got for slapping him????

No I would not condone anyone who hits a woamn, or any woman who hits a man for that matter! However, I can understand completely how you did this through total humiliation and for the love you had for this girl and the love of the baby you thought to be your own!! This must have affected the whole family, as your parents would have looked upon the child as their grandchild and now it isnt! What a mess and certainly what a ***** she is for doing this to you! However mate, if I was you I would try to pick up my life and get on without her, she is worth nothing! You still have your life ahead of you and will eventually meet the right person and maybe have children of your own. You do not sound a bad person at all, in fact you sound extremely caring, and honest! You have lowered yourself to her level by hitting her but just get over that now and sort your life out for you. i don't think your a bad person at all. What she did to you was absolutely terrible. I know violence isn't the answer but she deserved a good slap. No body derserves to be treated like that. (the way she treated you) My heart goes out to you, hope you can get over it and just try and move on. She's obviously just a very selfish person.

I can not blame you for hitting her, I myself would have found it very hard not to kill her, her act was the ultimate betrayal, you my friend must have been heart broken, what goes round comes round, I am sure she will get her's, it may be hard for you now but eventually your wounds will heal, I have been in a similar spot, remember this: Just as you sow you shall reap.

this is a hard one hun - its never right to hit a woman - but then again its never right to lie about something as serious as being a baby's father.
Im sure you were somehow justified by slapping her - and it may have felt good at the time and trust me she DID deserve it - but ultimately its you that paid the price having to do community service - but worse still is that you dropped your clean living standards to reduce yourself to her level.
I think you should chalk this down to experience and move on with your life - if I had to back one person in this - it would be you - you sound like a good guy with the baby's best intentions at heart and Im sure you'll make a great dad some day!

She deserved it, but if it were me i would have just walked away.Hitting her actually worked against your whole purpose of hitting her becoz she got the last laugh in your face.

You can't answer this question sincerely because unless you have been face with the same thing you will not know how you react.

If it were me I would have called social services and reported her for child abuse, reported her to the benefits agency and made sure the CSA knew who the biological father was and get him to cough up.

There are more other twisted things you could do but I am saving them just in case I need to use them one day!

I am sorry but sometimes people deserve a slap regardless of their gender. So much for being equal, she just used whatever resources she had (unfortunately law was at her side) when clearly she had been using you playing with you and hurting you in a worse way. emotional and psychological. Sounds like she deserved the slap. If it was you that had done wrong noone would have said anything if she slapped you.

However, it is wrong for anyone to be violent to anyone for any reason. I just think that us women want equality but we are still allowed to chop and change the rules on that when it suits us.

If i deserved a slap that a bloke gave me, i would just let it lie. I would also take a long hard look at myself on why i was such a fool.......u were treated harshly....

WOW, what a shocker. I feel for you bro, same thing happened to a friend of mine, for a year he pushed that baby carriage and showed of his newborn son, bought tons of things for her and the baby, paid for everything, then she split and sued him for child support, it was then that my bud found out it wasnt his, and it crushed him, hes not the same today, her family was so embarrased they moved out of town, as for hitting her, well you know, good luck and Im sad for you and this situation.

As another person answered, if we all want equality then if it's alright for girls to hit guys surely it works the other way. Obviously violence should never be used to solve problems but I can completely understand why you lost it. Being a dad is a great feeling (five boys one girl myself) and I'm sure that in the future that you will find a decent girl who is worthy to be your child's mum. You are lucky to be well shot of your ex and hopefully she will one day realise what a great father she has lost for her child and will regret everything that she has done. Good luck on the 200 hours and think of it as just 5 weeks of work. If Naiomi Campbell can do it, I'm sure you can. GOOD LUCK !!

I know everyone says "It's never ok to hit a woman" yada yada yada.... and usually that is true when a man is using his physical body to intimidate someone smaller than him. However, you reacted out of being hurt, and while I don't think you should have done it (because she has the last laugh now), we all do stupid things when we're mad. And you had every right to be mad!!! What a *****!!! I think that you should just learn from this situation and be more careful in the future with who you instill your trust in and be thankful that the baby isn't yours so that you can just move on and be done with her. I hope you find somebody nice and deserving of you in the future. Good luck.
