I already did
I spoke to recruiters from all 4 branches (my apologies to the Coast Guard, NOAA, USPHS, and the Merchant Marine) before I joined.
The Army did the best job of meeting my needs with guaranteed training, a wide variety of duty assignments, and good promotions and benefits. |

I wouldn't...because I'm already here and I can't join again.
But I will tell you that I joined to serve my country, for benefits, and to make sure my family will always have a place to eat. |

It's not for everyone, but it was definitely for me. I loved every bit of my 5 years and would gladly do it all over again! |

Well i wouldn't join, because I've already joined, haha so would it count as a fraudulent enlistment? I'd join over and over again, because I believe that nothing is free and you have to work for it. i am securing a life for me my parents and my children. I believe it also to be a higher calling. |

probably not because being in the army involves moving and traveling quiet a lot. i'd prefure to stay in one place for at least 5years and i wouldnt be able to do that if i was in the army |

I did back in 1998, but got out after my contract was up. I did not much care for life in the Army, but I am grateful for the benfits and opportunities that joining has provided me in life. |

Nope!!!!! NEVER!
If I had to choose between 2 branches to join, it's be either Navy or Air Force... |

Yea. Its good for you. It teaches you morals. And you get to shoot stuff. It can be boring though but i can deal. |

When I enlisted, my intentions was to start a life for myself, get discipline, and serve with honor. |

No, I don't trust the current government to make decisions that I will put my life on the line for. Sorry Unc Sam. |

Aside from the fact that I am too old I wouldn't volunteer for an oil war. When enough options have been explored in utilizing obvious energy sources and unless we were directly attacked by other than a score of sheet rock knife-wielding individuals With a huge Israel funded, lobby insisting that our culture is in imminent danger of destruction (more like Israel's problem) and anything short of a huge backlash is all but necessary no matter the cost....I would not put my life in needless danger. I ain't no sheep. |

No because there isn't a just reason to be in a war right now and I wouldn't be in control of my life until the government decided I could be. |
