No thanks. I've been to the middle east twice (courtesy of Uncle Sam), and I don't intend to ever go back. |

..You can gurantee that your crazy @ss country will be taken out by Israel alligned w/ America here in the near future (few years); and if it can hold off for 2 years, I'll be right there w/ em. |

No offense, but with the way most of the Middle Eastern countries view America/Americans, I would never feel safe going there. I personally know Iranians who would never go there again just because of their religious beliefs. But, thanks for the invite...I think. |

I'd love to visit Iran. I had a couple good friends from Iran a few years ago.
I lived in Oman for a year, Bahrain for six months and Dubai for six months.
But, I would not feel safe in Iran. |

dear shadab;
yeah i would love to visit your country all these people who say that Iran is not safe are just saying them from what the hear from the news
i know that a lot of people say it because of the conflicts among your country with others
recently some of my friends have visited IRan and they really enjoyed it
they say the people are friendly and the sights are fantastic
i myself am planning a visit soon
thanks dear |

I would love to vist Iran, see all and I am a 'student" of Persian culture as many here do not realize that what was Persia is now Iran.
I enjoyed the music; my grandparents came from a country not that far away: Croatia.
I am an "old soldier", seen war and most of the last century.
But I am also a human, a person who walks on the same earth as you. Yes, I saw the traffic, I have heard that the taxi cab drivers in Tehran actually control the country!
yes, I even know you have skiing! I am from Colorado!
But you have some of the greatest literature, poetry and art
of civilization, when Persia ruled the world, well the world was at peace. But I want none of that: respect.
But I am also as older, wiser, I hope. The issues we face today cloud, hide the greatness of your country from most.
Omar Khayyam is to me a close "friend", his words flowed so softly, and still are important. sadly few American's know who this man was.
I cannot locate the poem I wanted but it was one where Omar turned his cup over, I am sure you know but then he wrote so many great poems and words. I think the poem was about life, love an such and a "look back" upon life perhaps as a old man.
If you should ever wander by my home I would greet you as a friend.
In my life I do not think about who is running my country, I only value friends.
Peace |
