China has no capabilities to invade us. Their navy still is evolving from a "brown water" Navy. They barely are able to produce a ship capable of "blue water" and even then it is limited. They have no expeditionary capabilities as the United States's Fleet Marine Force.
Don't blame them since their communist government is very new, since the early 1950s, after the US sanctioned their country, to be left on their own from our own government/military support. Yes, we used to "own" China 60 years ago; just not in the exact words! |

Won't happen. The USA would be the biggest pain in the butt to occupy. Americans have guns and know how to live in the woods. An occupation of the USA would be expensive in funds and lives.

The Chinese have nations all around them they could invade if they wanted to. Lots of them have oil. They have troubles of their own. Plus, a military attack on the US might precipitate a nuclear response. We have plenty of fire power under the ocean. |
