if i get a girl friend or a wife nd i live on a base on military base wat all do i have to do to beable to have her live with me??

For her to live on base with you, you have to be married.
Just know that even married service members don't always live on base. More and more bases have either over crowding in housing or no housing at all. (I've been to 2 bases with out housing).
If there is no housing they will pay you to live off base. Married members get a little extra money for housing than single members.
If you are single you may be able to move off base with her. It depends on your rank if they let you move off base in the military. I was never married and lived off base. I moved out of the barracks when I made E4. |

Girlfriends don't exist in the eyes of the military so if you are single then you are required to live in barracks until at least an E5 or E4 with more than 4 years in. If you want to live out in town you can attempt it but you are required to maintain your barracks room and pay out of pocket for it.
If you are married and on accompanied orders (meaning in the US) then you will get BAH w/dependents to pay for rent/utilities or qualify for military housing. |

when you join there is a big difference in girlfriend and wife. girlfriend = you figure it out. wife = military will provide a 2 br townhome or apartment/duplex, just tell your chain of command you need the papers filled out, until you get more rank and get a bigger house. |

GF cannot live on base., only spouses.
onlywhen you have accomapanied orders may you apply for on base housing. waiting lists cna be a year long and are based on Paygrade and bedroom entitlement. |
