I am looking for honest answers.. especially from the men... I know I shouldn't think this way.. but I do not have a lot of self confidence.. and I'm only human.. with human fears.. I'm scared of him being deported for a year or away for months on an assignment and him drinking(as most do..while away especially) and giving in to temptation.. I love him with all of my heart, and I DO TRUST him.. I'm still just afraid of this.. especially with so many stds out there!! He knows my fears.. and just laughs about them.. but.. why does this keep crossing my mind? In six years he's never cheated on me.. but he's never been away from me for more than a few days either.. any advice.. especially on how to not think this of such a good man?

Yes there are military members that cheat, there are also military spouses that cheat. Just as there is in the civilian world. However, it all depends on the relationship the two of you have.
One, he is not going to be deported, its deployed (Iraq or Afghanistan). And while they are deployed, they are not allowed to drink. It is strictly forbidden.
Two, if he is sent to Korea, then yes, he can drink there. Not all do but yes I have seen many come back from Korea drinking alot more than they did when they left.
If you don't get over this fear you have, you are going to destroy your relationship, even before you are married. You are going to make yourself go crazy and you will not make it as a military wife.

It is far more common for Civilian men to cheat on their wives than for men in the Army to cheat on their wives.
