thinking of joining the navy EOD and wanted to know if i got deployed do i get any type of weapon and if anyone knows what kinda weapon is carried?

I can't speak specificalyy on what it is they carry, but every deployed servicemember carries a weapon, usually the M4 or M16, sometimes the M9 pistol depending on your job or position. There are other weapons and variations on the ones I've stated, but those are the big three. |

The Navy EOD guys we worked with had an arsenal of weapons. They let us shoot their Barrett .50 cal a few times--quite fun. |
