very interested in doing my bit but dont want to be on battle fronts etc cause of family, what jobs are there where id stay on the base?
and yes i have looked for other questions like this and seen all the stupid answers some people have put, unless ur actually answering then dont bother.

no matter what you do, youd be deployed, but if you were somthing like a postal worker in the forces, you would never leave the base (ie kandahar) unless on a flight, so its about as safe as living and working here. |

Everyone is at war, and no military is going to put you in a cushy job and not send you to Iraq or Afghanistan. Your chances for this type of job are slim to none. |
