let's use this memorial day as an example. will the military be receiving there checks on friday this week with the holiday falling on the day before the 1st of the month?

the official payday is the first, but the banks will be releasing the funds on friday. it's just like a payday landing on a monday. if the 1st were monday, we would get paid friday. since tuesday is the first business day of the week, it is just like a monday payday. |

Paydays are the same every month, whether or not a Holiday falls or not, in this case, Memorial Day is May 31, and payday is June 1, there is NO issue here, stay focused! |

Pay days are the 1st and the 15th regardless.Since direct deposit is mandatory, this is not an issue at all. |
