about 2 years ago i was discharged from the national guard RSP program before shiping to BCT , family reasons could not leave, anyways they had me sign a conscientious objector form saying i was agenst war, any ways the gave me a RE3 code and it ses im a conscientious objector, dose anyone know how to apeal the conscientious objector form? im going to find a way! i will not give up! so please dont leave any smart *** comments! dont waist your time or mine! any help would be greatly appreciated! thank u

As a past recruiter, I can tell you that an RE-3 puts you in a waiver position (you would have to apply for a waiver, your recruiter will know how to do this) if you plan on going back into the Guard. Your recruiter will have to look into the NGB 600-200 to see what is required regarding the waiver for re-enlistment. If I remember correctly, You will have to write a letter denouncing the reason for the RE-3 and meet with your (future) commander and he will have to write a recommendation letter for you. Then the Waiver packet is sent to NGB (National Guard Bureau) for determination. If all else fails....See your congressman. It is not a difficult thing to do (if you have a good National Guard Recruiter), just time consuming paperwork wise. You will have to take the ASVAB again and get a physical at MEPS...Time has expired for those tests. Good Luck. |

Have you been to a recruiting office? The recruiter will advise you. Also you may want to get one of those free consultation lawyers and see what he/she has to say about what you can have done about reversing your decision to be released from duty to do a different civil duty. |
