I would guess that you need four reasons....not for. I am hoping that this is for a class project where you have to pick the negative side to argue.

I cannot come up with one single reason where texting while driving is even acceptable, let alone good.

Unless someone has a secret death wish, or wants to take the chance of killing themselves or others; there isn't a reason for doing anything while driving other than drive in a safe and careful manner.

2nd of all- If you text while driving you're stupid and selfish. You're not only risking your life but other drivers lives. Studies actually show that it's more safe to drunk drive than text and drive.

There are no good reasons! A text really isn't that important while driving. It distracts you and there have been too many accidents because of it.

Sorry, you have a very long wait since there are absolutely none. Anything that distracts you from the job of driving is bad, and texting is at the top of that list.

The only pro that I would seriously consider is not even related to texting while driving. When in doubt, go back to human rights.

In the US, what is not expressly denied in the Constitution is inherently allowed (barring further amendment or community laws). The argument against texting is fairly new, and falls into the same court as all new technology.

The ONLY good reason is that the tard texting while driving may lose control and hit a tree and get killed. That means there will be one less idiot on the roads texting.

there is nothing good about it. if you MUST text then pull over somewhere! otherwise pay attention to the road! because traffic conditions change unexpectedly and you need to be aware!
