try to erase it from your mind. you can't be scared of driving so you need to try to forget it. all you have to do is learn to be a good driver and ALWAYS DRIVE DEFENSIVELY!! always follow the safety rules too. i hope everything works out for you!! |

Anything can happen. but just don't think about it. I'm 18 and have been in 4 car accidents, but that's just because me and my friends were goofing off, and because of other people on the road. try not to think about what you saw, or if that doesn't help try talking with someone about it. most of the time talking with someone helps get though most things. good luck. |

Well, its never good to keep it inside, so maybe you should tell your parents because it can give you relieaf over the problem. Also, maybe start trying to buckle up more when you get in a car, i know its annoying to, but its for the better. And maybe just keep on the safe side.A good idea is maybe making a list of things not to do when driving a car? (i know it sounds babyish, but it might help)andddddd everyone gets over things. You might remember it a little while, but after a while you forget it, and you shouldnt worry about it because you wornt hurt or anything.
I hope this helps =]] |

Firstly tell your parents that it has 'freaked you out'.
It is perfectly normal to experience stress at seeing something like this.
For those that have answered in a flippant manner saying things like 'dont worry about it' or ' it aint that bad', ignore them.
Everyone can react in different ways.
If you don't get much understanding from your parents (or they simply are unable to help you) perhaps you could consider contacting the school counselor or even your family doctor.
Most of the time, just talking through your feelings and reactions with someone can help to ease the stress.
Maybe even chatting to a good friend about it would help you. |

The safety systems in cars now make them safe enough to allow the occupants to survive practically any kind of accident. What you have to understand is that it wasn't your fault & that you should be thankful that you weren't involved in it. You should speak to your parents about it, or confide in a neutral party (such as a friend or other family member) if you don't feel comfortable talking with them. Talking will help you however. You should not feel that this is going to happen to you because the chances are that it's not. |

These things happen. You will become desensitized, the more of it you experience. This isn't necessarily a good thing but it helps. If you feel really torn up about it, talk to your parents. They may consider counseling. That doesn't make you crazy, it just means you experienced something traumatizing and could use time with someone who knows how to talk to you about it. |

If its really bad you should think about some professional help. These guys really help you dealing with such things. Your parents might help you there.
But if it wasn't to bad, I'm sure you will not think about it very much very soon. |

15 and was almost in a car crash once.
Its natural to be freaked out at this point if it just recently happend,
In the morning or after youve had some sleep or been out with friends you will forget the details about it and just think 'oh i seen a car crash once'
Trust me, you'll forget about it soon enough |

Drink sugary tea, this helps with the shock. You'll soon forget about it, just try to remember that unfortunately these things happen in life. Always remember to wear a seatbelt. |

Counciler mabye ,you can talk to your parents about it, or you can try to find some other kids around your age that have been through simmilar expirences and just kinda talk about it? I've been through that kind of stuff and I know how it feels. |

Maybe you should see a counselor. Otherwise you have to just chill and realize these things happen sadly. Just remember when you start driving to be careful. |

Talk to your parents. If you're still in school (I don't know when your summer break starts) talk to a counselor there. Otherwise if you're really freaked out you might want to ask your parents to make you an appointment with a counselor. |
