The only way that situation is going to end is to let the war take its course to the end, let one side be a true victor. Israel has given so much to further the road map, every time they give a concession the Palestinians fire rockets from the newly acquired land into civilian targets.
Palestinians are terrorists, Israel should be allowed to finish them.

Not in the next few generations. You'll note that you already have one answer talking about the evils of Zionism. Translated, that denies the possibility of peace with Israel, leaving only the destruction of Israel as an acceptable option. There is no lesser option than suicide open to the Israelis that will accommodate their neighbors, and they're not likely to accede. That leaves the Israeli government with a difficult task. They must afford their population some reasonable level of living and safety, even if the best safety they can hope for is considerably less than most of us take for granted; and yet at the same time, they must find a way to shift Palestinian opinion to accept their presence.

The question is EXTREMELY complex. I know you'd like to have an easy answer but there is none!

Here are some of the key issues and solutions.

1) Arabs have to accept that Israel is a permanent fixture and no amount of time or terror is going to change that.

2) Israel have to accept that there need to be more compromises for peace including a large chunk of the West Bank.

3) Radical Islam has to give up it's anti-Israel nonsense and let the Palestinians forge their own future with, not against Israelis.

4) Both Israel and Palestine need amazing visionary leaders to drag their peoples to the final status talks.

5) Above all we need time! Israel has been arround only 60 years. Give us until 100 before you start judging. Europe is only just starting to get it together and they have been around for centuries.

I believe Prez Obama probably has his heart in the right place. I just think he is a little naiieve about what it will take to get this done.

Oh also. The world has to stop Iran!!!!!!!!!
I promise you Israel will not allow another Holocaust to happen and given that is the aim of achmedinajad we are on the way to a big disaster.
