Assuming you are female (your avatar) and he is a proud Kenyan, should you not follow him and go where he is - Kenya? Will not his tribe think that he is less a man for going to his wife's country? How can he support you when you are in education? How can he support himself?

As others have said why not go to Kenya ? In that country you'll have to work to survive unlike this country where scroungers and layabouts are kept by the taxpayer. Living in Kenya with your intended might help you to mature.

i would just suggest that you think carefully first. if he's kenyan have you ever actually met the guy? are you sure he's not just using you as a meal ticket to the UK? you need to have a good bit of money to move him here to marry also. your a young woman still you must think carefully before you act because even if he is genuine marriage is a big step to take so young. where are you going to get the money to afford it all? think rationally about it.

You cant bring anyone, outside of the EU, into the country until you are employed and shown able to support them. The illegal rout will end up with you in Britain trying to bring up hes children, and him back in Kenya. as has been the fate of thousands of young gullible British women this year alone. No offence meant, but.....(( I would think this relationship through if I were you.))

Right now you can't - it doesn't matter if he's Kenyan or American or Cambodian. To bring a foreign spouse to the UK, both parties need to be at least 21 years old, and you have to prove that you have your own housing and earn enough money to support both of you without receiving any sort of benefits. If you are in education, then you will not qualify. If you live with your parents, in shared housing, or in council housing you will not qualify.

So finish school, get a job where you make enough money to afford your own place and can financially support your husband for at least 6 months, and turn 21. Then apply for a fiance visa - once approved he can come to the UK and will have to marry you within 6 months of arriving in the UK. During this time he cannot work at all - you have to financially support him 100%. Once you are married, then you file to adjust his status to a spouse visa, and until that's approved (usually takes 8-16 weeks) he still can't work.

It's just not possible until you are both over 21.

Even if you were both old enough, without a job, you would be unable to meet the financial conditions of a spouse visa i.e. abole to support yourselves without recourse to public funds.

Contrary to what some misinformed people think, he could not claim benefits, it is illegal until he has indefinite leave to remain (settlement) which would take two years to acquire as the spouse of a UK citizen.
