I think his returning to the NFL is a good thing, on the whole it should be a positive experience for Vick and local fans. He is helping with inner-city kids it's all good. He served his time let him now show his worth to society.

That @sshole shouldn't ever be allowed to profit from football ever again. He should get his penance for animal cruelty and that is:

- getting pounded in the @ss in prison for at least year's worth of jail time.

Seriously, has anybody ever actually seen dogs that survive dog fights? That s_h_i_t ain't pretty. It's one of the most horrific sights ever and this c_u_n_t subjected these poor dogs to it.

In my view, he's no better than a serial rapist or a child molester.

My Perspective...

I think that he is doing what he should have been doing. I think that they made an example of him.

yeah...ive been trying to figure out how people can tell this man what he's feeling.
the guy has lost almost everything (specifically from where he came from...it hurts more when you had something to loose)
he's was in jail for 2 years away from his wife and children and his face is the disgrace of the moment...
I would feel sorry if all that was happening to me. I would also hope I can continue to live my life and put the past behind me.
We all make mistakes and just because he's a celebrity doesn't mean he's not human.
I grew up with Michael and trust me...he's just as human as the rest of us...
whats even worse about this situation is that he hasn't been to his home in a long long time...family was living there...I know this because as I said, I grew up with him. He has taken the fall for something he really didn't know about and he's done it gracefully

Vick did his time, and the NFL enacted punishment over and above what the justice system gave him in order to save face and protect its image. No one 'owes' him a job, and I have no ill will towards any team that avoids him on moral grounds. But neither do I have ill will towards the Eagles for hiring him. The man did his time. The Eagles have to make the business calculation of public backlash vs the upside of Vick being able to help them win football games.

I will say though that as a football fan, Vick's on-field skills are over-rated. He has never demonstrated an ability to be an accurate or consistent passer (unless you count consistently inaccurate), nor to read NFL defenses (possibly a side effect of his height which is below ideal for the NFL). So if I were running a team, unless I were positively DESPERATE at the QB position, I would see the PR downside as being more significant than the on-field upside.

If you're ****** up enough to do such a thing you shouldn't be allowed to be treated like a human being again, let alone praised for doing well in sports. You should rot in jail. I also have to agree, this guys should be ****** in the *** repeatedly.

Unacceptable that he was allowed back into football. Totally, completely, wholly unacceptable.

He should still be in prison. He should be forced to volunteer at the Humane Society every single day for the rest of his miserable life.

(the people who are attempting to "defend" this piece of slime clearly don't know the lurid DETAILS of the crimes he committed against innocent, helpless creatures)
