A legitimate US citizen or a natural born citizen are two different things!
According to past definitions a natural born US citizen is a citizen born in the US to 2 US citizens! That would make obama NOT a natural born citizen!

Of course that aside we have NOT seen his birth certificate! So we have no idea where he was born.

There really isn't any higher authority on the matter of who was born in the state of Hawaii than the state itself. If they're satisfied, then so am I.

Crazy people on the internet seem to think there's a second "long-form" birth certificate (that no one else in the country has) that's locked in a safe somewhere, and the absence of such a fictional document must be proof of a conspiracy to hide it.

"short form" birth certificates: City of P_____, City of S_____, Republic of Ireland. "long form" birth certificates: City of P______, State of XXXXXXXX. Where do these things come from if no one else in the country has one? Am I the only one? Why did (I believe it was the last time I got my US passport renewed) the paperwork state that I had to have a "long form" birth certificate from the state as city birth certificates and "short form" birth certificates were NOT acceptable? yes he is a citizen because, at the very least, one of his parent was a citizen when he was born, and again at the evry least even those with dual citizenships, if acquired at the time of ones birth, can become a president, this goes the same for children born it territories, on military bases, and on planes owned by us companies, departing from the us, or arriving in the us.

I also have a thing that looks like what Obama says is his Birth Certificate, only I couldn't even get a drivers license with that.

Hawaii was a US State when he was born there.
He was born there and has produced a valid birth certificate that establishes the fact CONCLUSIVELY.

Under the 14th Amendment to the constitution "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States ..."

Therefore, case closed, he's a US Citizen.

(And by "subject to the jurisdiction" no this does NOT mean that you cannot have a second nationality -- this is simply what excludes the child of foreign diplomats from being US Citizens. Diplomatic immunity means one cannot be subject to the jurisdiction of the stste to which the diplomat is accredited. Anyone who can be arrested or sued or prosecuted is "subject to the jurisdiction" of the US.)

He may indeed have been a citizen of the UK and Colonies or of Kenya at some point due to his father's citizenship; however under US law this means absolutely nothing at all. Foreign nations cannot define who is a US citizen, and the fact that many are dual nationals means nothing and has no effect on oneâ€™s US Citizenship. You either are a US citizen or you are not, at birth.

Many give spurious legal definitions or requirements for "natural born or native born" citizenship. The term has a complex history, but the US Supreme Court has only ever recognized two types of citizen: those who are citizens at birth and those who became citizens later, by naturalization. Folderol about their being a conflict because of his second citizenship is so much pap. He no longer holds that citizenship under Kenyan law; the fact he ever held it is simply meaningless.

How do we know his citizenship was verified?

As a Senator on the Foreign Relations Committee, Obama had a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. All members of that committee see intelligence info that requires such a clearance by law.

Also by Law, such clearances can ONLY be given to US Citizens, and the background investigation requires verification of citizenship. The investigating agency (FBI or STATE DEPARTMENT his case; AFOSI in my case, as I also had one some time ago) actually contacts the issuing agency for birth certificates to obtain verification of citizenship. No exceptions.

Soâ€¦. 1. He had the clearance 2. The clearance goes only to Americans 3. He isn't a naturalized citizen so he must be a born citizen 4. The investigating agency must obtain his birth certificate and verify his citizenship thereby.

Phil : While I appreciate that you went to an awful lot of trouble to prove that Obama is eligible. You went to all the bias sources for your information. For some unapparent reason, he has the main stream media, the Feds and obviously a lot of people in a slumber. Most people can look at these document Obama's administration provided and see that they are FAKE, all of them. He is a con artist from Kenya.
