I do not know why our Potentate would expext anyone from there to attend and rescinding the invitation was only a formality as no one has ever accepted an invitation for that in the past and yes there have been some. |

The sad part is a few days ago (the same day he finally made a strong statement against Iran's treatment of the protesters) Obama was asked if the invitation was still open and he said it was still up the the Iranians on whether to accept it or not. He even said it twice. But after he caught some flop that afternoon for saying that the very next morning the White House released a statement saying the offer was rescinded. Why did Obama have to wait till the next day instead of showing he had a pair the day before by saying they were not welcome instead of trying to play Mr. nice guy by saying it was up to the Iranians? Plus he had to have a White House staff member do it for him instead of owing up to it himself. And Liberals can't figure out why so many people think Obama lacks a spine. |

The Iranians don't give a rats as@ in he!l about any holiday celebrating America's Independence, & Obama was a flat-out fool for extending the invitation in the 1st place. Of course the Iranians wouldn't have been caught dead at such a thing... I'm still trying to visualize what the Iranians must have thought when the nutcase extended such an invitation in the 1st place!
What additional fodder he's given all of them in furthering their campaign against us -- In this case they'd be correct in at least calling ONE person in this country ALL the horrible names they usually do - Which ALL come down to saying we're ALL evil, worthless, insane, no-good pieces of dun taking up space where good men & women could stand on earth!
The ONLY thing these further STUPID Press releases could be doing is trying to take a little of the furious heat off Obama's insane, heartless as far as the American People are concerned, invitation to these Enemies of OURS in the 1st Place! But, it's NOT going to work!
It's only succeeded in bringing more attention to his invitation!
To me, all it's done is reminded me of a rotten spoiled brat, who thought he could be the big kid on the block, & show all the other kids in town that he was so cool, so well-liked by everybody that he could do what nobody else could. That he would be able to show all those doubters in America, & the world, that those stand-offish kids that wouldn't let any other kids play w/their toys ever, would gladly come over to "His" house, & picnic & play w/him!
He made a mockery out of America & EVERY TRUE American Citizen, of which we know he ISN'T ONE! By bowing when the Leader of a World Power NEVER BOWS; especially to a lowly Saudi Prince! He & his wife, shamed us in their stupidity of Royal Protocol! He's uncouth; unSKILLED, unEverything! |

I think that the Iranian government is afraid that our stupid congress is going to pass the 'Cap and Trade" bill and they don't want to pay the huge added costs to refuel their planes.
Neither Korea or Iran need to worry about blowing the US into oblivion, Obama will tax us into oblivion and then we will all die while waiting to see a doctor. |
