Should England leave the European Union?

There would be no real benefit for england leaving the EU.
But it would have a lot of negative effects.
So the answer is no.
I mean get real the times of the british empire are over.
So whats better to have a seat and a voice in the EU
or to stay out and let the EU force their rules on the country anyway.
(and they have the power to do this).
For example what do you want free trade or the EU say ok we trade with you but......

Em, do you think the UK or England itself? Does that include Scotland, Wales and N Ireland too or are they exempt? Or do you seriously need a copy of a proper atlas?

Is England better off because of it's membership in the EU? No!!! Neither are Germany or France.

However can England leave is the question. Probably not, without serious consequences as long as the EU exists. The question is, does a need for the EU exist in the first place? I don't think so, it's only reason for existing is to try and be like the USA. Which it can never be without all countries involved loosing their identity.

Germany, France, and England feel they should rule it because they have lost their sovereignty since it's creation, so why keep it?

England maybe should not have joined, but now it is part of EU, it shouldn't leave - it's too late and it would as an respondent has said, likely to cause negative impact unnecessarily. England now needs to act as influencing power to the union.

Yes, it seeks to control all European countries with forced laws, forced treaties, without the people permission.

People say we will fall if we leave, but we join the EFT, and still allow European immigration.
That way we will run our own country, rather then letting the EU rule us.

I don't need to read through biased propaganda to answer yes. It is, and always will be, far more favourable to Germany and France. The Common Market that we signed up to in the early 70's was, and still is, a good idea.

A Federal State run by unelected bureaucrats for their benefit, and to assist Germany's desire to control all of Europe is not.

England should get out of the union with europe as soon as it can.
It is a farce, a playground for politicians to practise their stupidity.
England has nothing in common with european countries, never had, never will.
Forget about trading partners and all that blurb, if you have something for sale and the price is right someone will buy if, no matter where they are from. This has been going on for centuries all over the world.
Politicians will have you believe otherwise, they have to have high salaries and expense accounts you know.
