i don't hate Arabs, nor do i hate Americans. However, i'd argue that any one ethnicity is anymore "civilized" than another. We are all barbaric in one way or another.

Maybe some Americans dislike Arabs because of ignorant assumptions made like the one you just said. We have civilization... and I am sure many Arab countires do too... but there are a few that make some question that.

I don't have an issue with non-muslim Arabs. It's these muslims of all races that I have a problem with. On the other hand, muslims in saudi arabia are taught to hate america from a very young age. That aside, muslims are involved in violence all over the planet and the "moderate" muslims that are not directly participating in it simply keep silent and don't speak out against it. This is where the problem is with the supposed "moderate" muslims - they don't do anything to clean up their own religion..

Have you considered that there are people that hate muslims (you call them arabs) in other parts of the world as well? Perhaps other people in the world don't like having their civilians getting blown up in train stations, beheaded, gassed, raped, etc on a regular basis. You must be blind to have not considered that fact. It is not just americans that feel this way towards muslims (arabs as you call them).

I have no idea what you are talking about with regard to civilization. The saudi oil fields that are nearly used up perhaps? The nomadic dungholes in the sahara perhaps? Is this what you are referring to? No thanks cuz you can keep your pisshole you call "civilization", k?

That is a bigot's question, setting up for a bigot's answer.

"Americans" view of civilization is surely different than many other cultures, but most of us will not deny the existence of other "civilized societies" even though they are most brutal by our standards.

Though the American culture is still a relative infant compared to those of the Ancients, it is a much more tolerant and malleable one than most. That perhaps, is why so many people want to join us.

All Americans do not hate all Arabs... however, your religious dogma that dictates "death to infidels" and the extremist assaults on our society does not make for heart warming associations.

Wrong Amir. You Arabs had the worlds most advanced civilization when the US didn't exist yet. Now the US has the most advanced civilization and Arabs don't have any. Which is sad, but true. I don't thinks civilized Americans hate Arabs, but some uncivilized might as well do. You can apply the same to Arabs, I believe.

It's because of the stereotyping we see. All over the news you see Arabs, Muslims, etc, burning American flags and burning a replica of President Bush and just being haters towards us! Taking our military hostage isn't gonna prove anything!! Cutting off heads of journalist, Biggest one of all 911! Americans don't hate Arabs. In fact, I see far more hate and anger for Americans coming from Arabs. I genuinely wish the hate would stop. I am American--I don't think Arabs are terrorists, I am not racist, I am fascinated by Arab culture and by the religion of Islam. I don't want to force my beliefs on others and believe other countries should be allowed to choose their own politics and religion. There are many many young Americans who agree with me! I think there is much misinformation about Americans in other countries--especially among Muslims. We don't hate Arabs at all. I am NOT a part of the Tea Party but not even the Tea Party hates Arabs...they are just scared and misinformed.
