is obama really a born citizen?

there have been many reasons why people believe that obama might have not been born in hawaii, one is that the birth certificate he used was printed by using some time of laser scanner or something that did not exsist when he was born, another one is that there are two possible hospitals he could of been born in, no one knows for sure cuz the investigators have gotten two different possibilities from the family. And also when the investigators went to the hospitals they were not aloud to look at the files. And i know that by law they aren't aloud to check, but the investigators have basically said "just let us see the birth certificate and we will stop bothering you" and they still have refused. I don't know they could of legitimate reasons for the mistakes, what do you guys think??

If he had nothing to hide about his birth place then he would not be spending the thousands of dollars in legal fees, he would just produce said document and be done with it. Makes sense to me.

quick question - did bush have to furnish a birth certificate? Reagan? ANY of our previous presidents?? I think too many people are trying to sabotage Obama's presidency because it's new and not what were used to. My opinion is this - he's our president now so deal with it. quit trying to knock him down cause that gets us nowhere. This isnt necessarily directed at you. Im just sick of people picking apart every little detail of Obama... He's our president now, might as well back him. (Ever heard the saying, "If you cant beat 'em, join 'em"?)

Yes, he is. He was born in HI, and if he wasn't, his mother was a natural born citizen, so he was by inheritance a natural born anyway.

I may be wrong, but doesn't the constitution state that the president have to be a citizen, not born in America? If so, what is the big deal all the way around? He is a citizen, let it go. People are grasping at straws here, and should be more concerned with how to dig America out of the sh@thole it has fell into, (Not caused by Obama, but inherited by him)

Unless you were there when Obama popped out of his mother's cooch, I don't think that you can make any statement whatsoever regarding Obama's citizenship.

I think that questioning his citizenship at this point is ridiculous, because Obama has been considered a US citizen HIS WHOLE LIFE!

The answer is "The FBI has Obama's Birth Certificate and yes he was born a citizen because the FBI verified his citizenship in 2005 before he was a candidate."

How do we know the FBI verified his citizenship?

Here's how. As a Senator on the Foreign Relations Committee, Obama had a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. All members of that committee see intelligence info that requires such a clearance.

By Law, such clearances can ONLY be given to US Citizens, and the background investigation requires verification of citizenship. The investigating agency (FBI in his case; AFOSI in my case, as I also had one some time ago) actually contacts the issuing agency for birth certificates to obtain verification of citizenship. No exceptions.

So 1. He had the clearance 2. The clearance goes only to Americans 3. He isn't a naturalized citizen so he must be a born citizen 4. The FBI must have obtained his birth certificate and verified his citizenship thereby.
