Yeah you can spell passport but not visa, and you wanna go to the US from Egypt but you can't talk/spell the English language properly :/ not gonna happen is it :L

You mean visa. A passport establishes your citizenship and is a form of identification and also identifies which countries you have visited. A visa gives you permission to enter the country that granted it. A particular country may or may not require you to get a visa to enter depending on your passport.

Yes there is a difference a passport is an official government document that certifies a persons identity and citizenship and permits a citizen to travel abroad, where as a visa is a document which enables you to enter the country you are visiting. It usually comes in the form of a label which is stuck onto an empty page in your passport. Some countries issue tourist cards which are inserted into your passport.

A visa is a document (and/or stamp in your passport) granting you permission to stay in x country for x amount of time. If you are a tourist, your typically granted access to a country for a limited amount of time as a tourist however if you want to work or go to school etc, you will need a visa from the country your trying to access to be able to do that. Some countries are easy, some are more difficult.

A passport however is a booklet with your name, address, picture, and basic identification including your country of origin. It is stamped each time you arrive at a new country. Your passport is unique to you it holds the history of your access ie; tourists passage stamps and the visa stamps- all in one place within the booklet pages.

These days the passports have electronic chips in them. It's similar to a state driver's license - so keep it secure and current to avoid the huge hassle of getting a replacement and or jumping through hoops and red tape.
