I don't mind immigration. But I believe that if you want to migrate to a country you should accept and assimilate to it's culture. That's why different countries where formed, so one group of people could believe one thing and another group could believe another. If you try to make multiple groups with different beliefs live close together the end result is chaos.

Well it depends on what skills the immigrant can bring to the new country and wether they are willing to adapt to the host countries values and way of life and willing to integrate and become part of their new community, and not live off the back of the indigenous tax payers.

Depends what kind of Immigration you mean?
If its managed based on quality of the immigrant and needs to the host nation, well yes.
If its about illegal immigration (a crime) and unsustainable numbers of Third world low Quality immigrants then no.

Basically In a perfect world everyone could come to 1st world countries and they would be soon overwhelmed. nations they come from would suffer and fail to exist. They could take their own values and cultures with them that would not then be Multiculturalism but multinationalism and you would have chaos (terrorist attacks on British or American soil). There has to be control on the people who want to come. The west cannot continue to act as a transnational social worker for peoples of failed states who refuse to invest in their own people. Mexico is a prime example of that. Leave it to the gullible gringos who need the cheap labour, the Hispanic vote and their breeding capacity. In other words cultural suicide of the world that the European American built. Too many competing ethnic groups in one place spells disaster.why do we have La Raza, Black Panthers, Triads, White supremacists, the Mafia and others? Los Angeles is a example of that .in a perfect multicultural world Multi-ethnic self interested groups shouldn't exist according to believers in it but it does. Mass immigration is therefore social suicide not only for the people of the host nation but for longer established and productive immigrants in other words the loss of white hegemony would be a disaster for people who want to share in its enlightened ideals and freedoms inventions, laws, customs, culture and civil society that they cant get in their home nations.So immigrants opposing further immigrations is important to them also.

I think your question is quite vague

I think the majority of people in the uk would welcome controlled immigration which was economically and socially beneficial to the uk, just as long as there wasn't hundreds of thousands of people entering britain every year, many of whom unskilled with large families, who claim benefits and are just a drain on public money.

I think, however, a large majority of people are against continued MASS immigration which the uk has experienced in this past decade. Especially as these immigrants are undoubtedly huge contributers to crime in this country and their constant cries of "RACISM" are incredibly annoying and ungrateful, seen as they recieve amazing living conditions in comparison to their original country.

The Government has shown itself incapable of controlling it, so I'm strongly against it all. I'm against any further legal or illegal immigration.

Don't mind controlled immigration from friendly countries (e.g. USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand) from people who obtain the correct paperwork & come in through official ports of entry... can speak English... respect the culture... and can contribute to society.... and don't have a major criminal record.

I'm in support of legal immigration, that is if they have the right paper work and prepared to learn the lanugage of that country and follow their customs etc. I don't support those who expect a free ride when land into that counrty expecting free everything.

It's not so much the problem of people coming in, but how long has this been going on? I reckon for well over 25 years, only the volume of immigration seems to be increasing and the uk population seems to be increasing to. How do you accommodate them all?

To a degree, yes I do resent and disagree with people coming in and why England and why the midlands and London of all places, where clearly, it's saturated full of ethnic minorities.

I'm not one of those by the way who blame immigration for 'nicking our jobs', but I will say partly because of them, the value of a long standing Brit citizen paying their taxes for well over 30 years for example is diminishing - big style.

I do feel quite strongly about this, because they seem to do actually get the jobs, housing and basically a life.

A normal regular working bloke for example, will for ever be on the waiting list to even get a council house let alone get on the property ladder.

Where I live, it just seems to be getting overpopulated day by day :-(

Until I met the very, very racist Mexican Nationals, I simply didn't have an opinion. But not that I have seen La Raza, and dealt with the people who have threatened us with the Mexican Army if we were not good... I adamently do not want any more immigration.

And there are serious envirnmental problems we have, and have not confronted. People want to make trash.. they don't want to live on land fills for example. They want electricity that is clean... they don't want to turn off their air conditioning.

More people does NOT make sense in terms of abuse from Mexican Nationals, and in terms of the environmental problems.

I'm against it. Because the only immigration we are getting are the misfits and criminals - scammers - benifit fraud claimers (on it for ever) and not one of them contributing anything too this country.

The quality immigrants don't come here they go to other countries - we only get the dregs. Its been uncontrolled for so long now - there seems to be no end to it. The government don't care - they want and need their votes to get into power - and they keep telling us this country needs immigration - wrong - not the sort we're getting stuck with.!!

Multiculturalism and diversity are nonsense. With the rate of immigration and the reproduction rate of people from places like somalia and pakistan the native anglo saxon people will become a rare sight in not so many years. I'm all for anyone who wants to come to the UK to work, integrate and accept the culture and law of this country.

Those who come here to scrounge and generally disrespect my country's heritage I have no time for. They are not welcome.

I'm not sure what the right answer is. I'm only concerned about the impact on the country from too many immigrants and particularly the dangerous type that are allowed in the UK and problems such as over-crowding, recession and hate crime. Theres got to be more strict guidelines and control over this issue. At the same time its unfair to halt immigration completely, as Brits are also allowed to emigrate to other countries. I hate to offend but even as an Asian, I would be weary of (male) muslims and afghan/pakistan immigrants entering the UK after recent terrorist and anti-white attacks.

In the UK im against, i dont dislike the people but the effect its having on our country isnt good, we need to sort out all the Brits that are scrounging of the goverment 1st then think about supporting to the whole of europe

I am in the UK and I am totally against it. The indigenous population are being made to feel like second class citizens because the government is pandering to the immigrants to the detriment of the rest of society.
