Why do you come into someones home and act so rudely. If I came to your home and told you how to act would you not be insulted? Would you not eventually tell me "enough of your rudeness, Go home" how far does the politeness have to extend. When you go to visit a new house, you do not tell the owner to paint the walls your favorite color and please remove the front door because it offends your sense of openess. |

I love America. If you live in America and are being so disrespectful, why not move back to your homeland and stir the American hatred over there? I do love the diversity in America. I just would love to see our borders secured and all illegal aliens sent packing. Why no work on improving you own countries poverty and stop relying on the USA to bring every nation and illegal alien up to par. Not our problem. |

Why Cant You Other Nationalities Respect Us Americans? |

How do Brazilians treat Illegal immigrants(especially if millions of them invaded your country every month)? Do you honestly think ANY country looks kindly on illegal squatters? Americans welcome LEGAL immigrants. Do not confuse yourself. |

Stop generalizing. You have't met every American, or have you, in your short 8 years here, met enough to even consider it a sample of Americans. Not everybody has a disrespect for other nationalities, as you put it.
Some Americans do get really offended when people immigrate here, and don't take the time to learn our customs, or the language, however. |

I don't really appreciate people who sterotype Americans, either. Maybe you should get rid of the chip on your shoulder, sounds like maybe you have some personal issues to work out. I respect people who show the same respect to me. |

You don't get it do you?! If you wanted to be an American, you would know we are the best! Now get back to Brazillia, and work for your own crummy life there. |

why are you stereotyping americans? many do not think that way and we do respect others!
talk about double standard you're talking about us not respecting other nationalities, and yet you're disrespecting americans by generalizing them? |

Why can't people who come to our country respect our laws, our way of life and our society? We work because that is our heritage. This nation was founded by people who were willing to make sacrifices and work to get the things they wanted. They did not expect anyone else to provide for them or to take care of their needs. We work hard and it shows, that's why this country is great. We are willing to sacrifce for the things we want, we sacrifce for others, we give of our time and our money all over the world.
Americans do live and we do have fun. If you were so offended by the American work ethic you should stay where you are. Meanwhile the US will be ahead of the game because we are willing to do what it takes to be the best. |

I respect other nationalities. Obviously you are happy with your American lifestyle. If your are not happy here, go somewhere else. |

I would argue that America is the most diverse nation on the planet, made up of, and based on immigrants. True, American's do work a lot, but look at what our nation has accomplished in a shorter time history than most of the rest of the world. Could it be your are lazy? |

We do respect other nationalities. When we travel to their countries, for example, we follow their laws.
We expect the same respect in return. |

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview.
When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country
is to look at how many want in... and how many want out." |

I'd actually like to know why people from other countries can't respect American and Americans. Immigrants come here and expect to be handed everything on a silver platter and many of them don't even care about learning the language - instead they want us to learn their language. |
