Technically she was at fault as she hit you from behind...

although if the police or ur insurance companies here's this story (and they'll figure it out when they come to investigate it) you both will be prosecuted, have ur licences taken away and probably go to jail for reckless driving and possible harm to yourself and others as well as criminal damage

Unfortunately you have some fault there since you were speeding and crossed a yellow light. If you had been doing the speed limit you many have had time to slow down before the light became red. The other driver is also at fault if you did cross the intersection before the light became red, since her light would have been red and she failed to check for oncoming traffic (you) before she turned. I don't think you will have much luck winning this one since you were illegally racing & speeding which contributed to the accident.

Well, this clearly isn't in the USA. If it was then she would clearly be at fault, since the person who rear-ends another vehicle is always at fault. Since she turned into traffic without checking, then she is at fault. One is never to assume the way is clear simply because they have the light. If that weren't true then one could turn into a crosswalk and mow down pedestrians who hadn't quite made it across yet. You, however, are guilty of speeding.

Racing in illegal in most states, AND you were speeding. The cards are NOT in your favor. The other person has witnesses, you are cooked.

You're admitting that you were speeding through a yellow light. That means that, if you hadn't been speeding, you would have had to stop for the light, and this accident never would have occurred. Sounds to me like that makes you responsible.

Your both at fault, but she has the advantage of finding witnesses to vouch for her. What you need to do is prove beyond a reasonable doubt that its not your fault. If she hit you in the rear then get photo evidence and forensic to prove it.

Get police officers who were on the scene to testify for you.

It does sound like the accident was her fault BUT you said yourself that it was a late yellow light. Cops are allowed to give tickets for passing through a yellow light. Be careful next time, don't race, and maybe that wont happen to you.

If you drive like a **** you cause accidents, it is your fault, if you got a red light ticket it's because you jumped a red light not amber like you are saying, just pay for the damage, pay your fine and learn your lesson, drive properly and stop racing like an idiot

AS any Police officer will tell you, an Amber light means stop, before it goes to red. The red light then is indicating that you must not proceed until the light is green. You admit you were exceeding the speed limit, but if you were going at the correct speed, you would have seen the other car moving to turn left. You are clearly in the wrong, and it is stupid drivers like you who keep pushing up the cost of car insurance. I hope you are never allowed on the road again.

You crossed a late yellow light at excessive speeds while not checking to see if there was a car waiting to make a left hand turn in the intersection. You are at fault.

Well, though you were driving over the speed limit, the other driver was at fault for the accident. The law states that when turning left you should enter the intersection and wait for an opening clear enough to safely make the turn, even if the light turns red after you are in the intersection, legally if you have entered the intersection you are allowed to complete your turn after the light turns and you have the right-away. So the other driver should have waited until you were safely out of the way before turning, so the accident was the other driver's fault. However, the fact that you were speeding does not look so good so many insurance companies will put you at fault because of reckless behavior. The only illegal action you did was speeding as the light was yellow and not red, it is legal to go through a yellow light. It is likely that you will be ticketed with reckless endangerment also.
