You should have answered when they called you back......
I guess you'll just have to face the consequences. Tell them it was a mistake, maybe they'll understand. |

Just explain to them that you hit it by mistake and that your sorry. If you ever do that again stay on the line and explain that it was an accident. |

possibly they will come disconnect the battery and SIM card it worked for me hopefully they wont track you BUT wait outside for 10 mins or so just to get to them first if you talk to them and explain your accident theyll understand |

should have told them when they called back that it was a accident. they may come, but who knows. |

When that happens, let the 911 dispatcher answer the call and quickly explain that you dialed 911 by accident. They're usually pretty forgiving if you tell them it was an accident first than by wasting their time making them call back. If you don't answer the callback, they will send a unit to make sure you are ok, and if it happens more than once they can fine you. Don't hang up, just own up to it when the dispatcher answers and explain it was a mistake. The dispatcher will appreciate your honesty. |

Well, you may want to explain to them what happened before the police get there. Freak out a little, some crying will help them understand it was an accident. Ha ha.
But this is serious, I'm not 100% certain but the police probably will come by. This is where your parents come in, they'll have to explain but you'll probably be fined. I guess it depends on the situation.
If you really want to try and get out of it, you and your parents make a plan that you thought you smelled natural gas or that you though you heard a burglar but it turned out to be an animal and you freaked out and called 911 before your parents told you it was ok. These will only work if you're a good liar.
Good luck! |

I did that when i was like 5 when i was trying to call my uncle, and i didn't know it was the cops. They kept calling back and i got freaked out! The cops did come, because i kept hanging up. I was crying when my parents opened the door. |

Since you have already shut off the phone to say it was an accident. You should really just apologize sooo much, because someone really may needed those police to go to their house, but instead they are at yours. It was a mistake, try to make sure your parent don't come home any times soon. If they do, really say sorry and it was an accident. Good luck. |

I do not think that the police will answer a come to you if you called by a cell phone unless you tell them your location because not all cell phones have a tracking device so I wouldn't worry if I were you. |

That's why you're supposed to stay on the line and explain the situation, to avoid further wasting time and resources. |

Call them back and tell them you hit the button by mistake. Just be honest and you'll be fine. |

just tell your parents and the cops what happened. |

I have known it to happen to man people with an emergency button and not known it, it is no big deal. If your parents freak over that, they are idiots. |

Just tell the truth - what happened and that you won't do it again! |

You should have answered the phone and explained what happened and all would have been fine. The police might show up now! When I first got voice mail through my land line, I used the code 911 as my pass code (stupidly). Well, I ended up dialing them and hanging up as soon as I realized. They called back and I explained to them what happened and it was no big deal.....but I answered and explained! |
