first of all what did you do? Knowing a little more about your crime/offence will give me a better idea if you are going to jail.
If the police are coming to your door with a warrant for your arrest there is a good chance you are going to be held (in a lock up)
Yes you will be strip searched if you are arrested
Your best bet is to face the music go to them before they get to you
this may help them to be a little more lenient in your case and it will look better for you in court
Remember you are innocent until proven guilty and you could be released on a promise to appear
most important thing is to secure a lawyer to go into the police station with you Legal aid may be able to help you with that |

You should call the Police and ask about hte warrant.
Do you have any idea why there is a warrant? It could be for something as innocent as unpaid parking tickets (I've known people who went to jial for this).
Strip searching depends on the offense for which you're jailed, your attitude, your appearnace, and your past record.
Good luck |

Turn yourself in. But before you do call and find out what the warrant is for if you don't already know. Find out how much your bail is, then arrange for a bondsman and a lawyer. This way you can be processed right out, this way you will be locked up only long enough to be processed out UNLESS you have a parole or probation warrant, then you can expect to sit until your court date. |

Just go to the court talk to a clerk and find out what your warrant is for. Then go see the judge so he/she can recall your warrant. It could be a misdemeanor case ranging from not having drive license to drugs. Which there could be a fine |

call in see what the charge is and how much would you have to pay so you want get locked up |

turn your self in you don't want them to have to come and get you because you will go to jail and be strip searched either way don't have any thing you don't want found on you that's for sure
Good Luck with that |

Is it a warrant for an unpaid ticket for a crime? If it's for a crime you will go to jail, you will be strip searched and you will be held over for the crime. You will, however, get less time in the end if you turn yourself in. If it's for an unpaid ticket or a number of them, just go pay the ticket. |

What's the warrant for?
You have two choices (since they know where you live)
1. Run
2. Get a lawyer and turn yourself in. |

Best go to the police station and turn your self in. Things will be easier for you. Better then getting tazed by a grumpy cop that sees you on the street |

Depends on what is gonna go on if you do go to jail a strip search will be done. But I would say go to your local Police station ASAP and just turn your self in get it over with. |

Most people who have a warrant out for their arrest know why.
So contact a lawyer first. Then turn yourself in and keep your mouth shut. Do not give out any information except name and address and the fact that you have contacted a lawyer (who should be meeting you at the police department.)
Any questions asked of you that do not concern name address, age, etc... DO NOT ANSWER. AND DO NOT LIE... |

Chances are they will find you someday. I had a friend who had a warrant out for his arrest in Wisconsin for ten years, and eventually he got pulled over for speeding and they of course saw the warrant out, so he was thrown in jail.
Do you know why there's a warrant out for your arrest? Find a lawyer before turning yourself in. |

Do the right and turn yourself in.
Hire a lawyer, go to court to answer for your transgressions.
Then stop breaking the law, or at least stop getting caught for it.
Maybe you will go to jail, maybe you won't. Depends on if you're guilty or not.
If they do decide to lock you up, yes, you will be strip searched. |

You should be brave and face it - turn yourself in. You will go to jail, but if you turn yourself in on a week day (when judges are in session) you should be able to bond out quickly if you have the money. It's doubtful you would be strip searched unless you give them a reason to believe that you're hiding something, and it would be a female officer that does it. |

You should turn yourself in. You need to get through whatever punishment they have for you and not let it linger. You need to get an attourney asap before you turn yourself in. |

Get a lawyer and turn yourself in. If you didn't do anything wrong then I wouldn't worry. |

OUCH... Well Id turn myself in... Its best to do that then for them for find you (looks better in court).
If they have a warrant out for you, then yes you will have to go to the county jail for a few days depending on what the warrant is for. They will strip search you depending on how long you will be in the jail... Otherwise you can always post bond once officially arrested if you have the money... |

Go turn yourself in. You only get into more trouble if you don't and it looks better in court if you do turn yourself in. Oh, and you should probably contact a lawyer and set some money aside in case you need to be bailed out. |

Get a lawyer and have him/her make arrangements for you to surrender yourself at the police station. Make sure your lawyer goes with you and that you say nothing unless he/she says it is ok. |

You go to the PD and tell the clerk you have a warrant for your arrest. The longer you wait, the more money you're going to have to pay once you get caught. You will be held in a jail facility and yes, you will be strip searched, it's a part of the booking process before they give you your jump suit. |

Well, you probably know why you have the warrent out on you, so unless it's minor like unpaid traffic tickets you'd better see an attorney. |

If you go down to the Police Station and turn yourself in your punishment wont be as harsh |

If they have a warrant with your name on it, Better get a laswyer and let him handle it. I wouldn't turn myself in OR go to the station before I get the attorney. Exercise your rights in the constition. If they do arrest you before you have a lawyer, you MUST exercise your right to an attorney BEFORE ANY QUESTIONING.
Good Luck |

Turn yourself in, if you did the crime, you need to do the time. And why would they strip search you? |

Call the sheriffs office (from a payphone), see what the offense is for. Gather up the money and set up a plan to get bailed out, then turn yourself in. Believe me it feels a lot better when you have it taken care of. |

The honorable and right thing to do is to turn yourself in, but I would do so with someone who could bail me out I'd also hire a lawyer and plead my case. If you don't have someone to bond you out you will probably be put in jail until your court date and for strip searching well if they put you in you probably will be searched for security and saftey reasons. Please though do the right thing and turn yourself in and learn from you mistakes your younge and if you go ahead and get this cleared up and taken care of you have the rest of your life to live and be happy and productive! |
