where i live you at 13 are aloud to stay at home alone and babysit so i really don't think it's illegal at all i see 10 year olds doing it. Maybe it's just an excuse.

No law will ever inhibit teenagers from shopping in broad daylight. Money drives businesses and you're the one with money. Also, not having moms around make teens spend even more. If anything, it's illegal to bring your mom because she's hurting sales.

In SC where i live you can't go without an adult because younger folks were going and causing trouble. The security runs off kids. It depends on where you live. You can call the police and ask them if it is illegal in your state.

I don't think so. I went shopping at the mall with my friends when I was 12. Just stay in a group, arrange a meeting spot in case you get seperated(like at the food court) and make sure someone has a cell phone. Also make sure you know where the mall security office is just in case you run into any problems with creepy people.

I used to work at a mall. I saw young teen girls there in groups all the time. It wasn't a problem

The fact your Mum cares about you enough not to allow you to fall in harms way is and should be enough of an answer. with all sorts of weirdo's around now you should be thank full of her guidance.

I live in Norfolk and in the past 14 years there's been two very very high profile Murders " lovers lane " and the Soham Girls not to mention the little lad who fell into the Yare river never to be seen again oh and the little girl errrr no older than you who went to town with friends of which one of them thought it would be funny to push her into the Said river and WAS very very lucky she was pulled out of the river in time as one of the large Freight boats was mooring very close, have you ever seen the size of a large boats Propeller's? my partner was notified of a pedo having been housed in our area as she works for a Child care centre, he's been placed by the local council in between two schools two child care centres and three very large playing areas, he was placed there because someone burn down his last house because of his crime- attacking lone teenagers on footpaths going thought the very same play parks..... we have kids 8+ walking the streets doing as all sorts of Stuff...... Gavy just accept your mother Loves you so much she that she cares what happens to you not like some of the mothers around here. chin up you'll be 18 sooner than you think.
