Should I be in prison?

I don't see any reason you need to be in prison. You sound like a very caring husband and father. Ihave seen the other side and men like you are very rare. Good luck to you and your family and may God bless.

technically, you should of been in prison when your first child was, born, but now that you and your spouse are over 18 years of age you should not be in prison, don't worry about it. If i were you id try and straighten out your relationship with your father. Good Luck man.

You sound pretty upset about this. I think your father was talking about having too many kids, not about rape. AND I am sorry if you have a lot of respect for your father, but I think he was WAY OUT OF LINE to say such a thing. Your kids are part of YOU and your WIFE and if you love her and them as much as you say, you are entitled to EACH AND EVERY one of them. Just take as good a care of them as you can - I don't know of many PERFECT PARENTS so don't feel you are alone when it comes to feeling that you are a perfect provider. You should talk to a professional - like a psychologist - about your concern regarding your father's comments. It sounds like you may be unnecessarily fearful of him. You are a man now and you are YOUR OWN BOSS - not to mention the fact that you have a family to take care of.
1100 or so years ago, women were starting families at the age of 14 and it wasn't uncommon to have a family with 6 to 10 boys and girls!

Why would a person be put in jail for having to many children at a young age, That is preposterous.

I don't think you should be in jail for that - whoever told you that is very wrong.

Being that you're both so close in age, I don't think anyone could really deem it as 'rape.' Especially if you were both consenting.

I dont think legally you should be in prison because the difference I believe has to be at least 3 yrs. I am not 100% sure on this but I think this is right.

You shouldn't be in jail. As long as you just lover her till the end. That is a sad story. Only reason you would go to jail is if someone filed a report on it. So be happy with what you have :)))

get good job, get education, feed the kids, love the wife, be nice to them, don't get mad, enjoy time with them no matter rich or poor...you all can make it. you are fine. normal. no need to think about prison.

I live with my wife since teen age :) and we have 3 kids. i started out with $00.00 money. zero, zip, nothing... I got help from welfare, you know then I went to school, and raise kids... now I have BS degree, wife got BS degree too and have a happy family. You are the man, you in charge of your family and lead it to happiness. be strong and don't be influence by others. you have to use your brain and filter out good/bad and make your own decision. trust yourself and be confident. Good man, kind heart, and happy family will lead you to success. btw, help your wife out, 4 kids is too much for her.

You need to not worry. I think the statue of limitations is up. She is not filing charges and obviously wanted to stay with you.

You shouldn't be in prison, everyone deserves second chances. I just hope that you have a good relationship not only with your wife but also with your children, love and respect them and make sure they don't make the same mistake you did, because, no matter what the law says, you messed up.

Don't stress out over this. No you should not be in jail. I think it is great that you have stayed with her and you take care of your children. NOW get her on birth-control ASAP!
