i think its best to call the cops . tell them that your dad is drunk and he's driving . first of all it's safer for your dad so he doesn't get in an accident . tell the cops to try to calm him down before he enters your house . then have the whole family and the cop sit down and talk about whats going on and try your best to calm him down . good luck(=

i prayed for you. btw im christian. you should definitley call the police!!!! that would actually be called child abuse. god will bless your family. call the police, go and try to find a job (well your mom) and try as hard as you can. he can get arrested and if your mom gets a job you guys will be a lot happier. im not saying money is all but its something you need in your life. you and your sister should try to find jobs also because it can be good on college applications and if you get good grades and stuff you can be up to fiancial aid and live a lot happier life! trust me!! god will bless you in many ways. just remember god loves you and he feels for your family...and go to church one day. some churches have a lot to offer, and they love to help you out. may god bless you in many ways and ill be praying!! :)

For the protection of you and yours, call the police. If your father is lucky, he will be stopped for drunk driving before he hurts himself or someone else. Be warned, if he is stopped he will be going to jail and the car will be impounded. It is a small price to pay for the safety of everyone. Besides, you have no idea what he will do when he gets home.
I do not mean to be judgmental. Your dad sounds like an angy drunk and alcoholic and your mother is an enabler. They both need help.

I dont know about you but i would definitely call the cops....id rather be safe than sorry..what if he killed your mom? does that not matter? does money matter more? NO! i would call them and give them the license plate number and vehicle description....before he comes back trust me....i have a drug and alcoholic father...he has tried killing my mom lots of times....i always call the cops....ALWAYS!!!

If your mother does not want to pay to bail him out, she should not do so.
If your mother does not want to pay his legal fees, she should not do so. He can get a public defender.

But you should not allow your own fear of some perceived financial burden stop you from preventing harm to yourself and others by an angry, intoxicated man.

Tell your mom exactly how you feel. If she doesn't reciprocate, then you should leave and go to a safe place, with your sister if possible. Go to a friend or neighbor's house, one who you trust.

Check in with your mom a few times, if the police haven't yet found your father and if she didn't come with you.

Also, your father would probably get a D.U.I. if you immediately call the cops. That means jail time, if no one bails him out. It may also encourage him to get into alcoholics anonymous as well.
