No because even if sophisticated guns weren't invented, people might make their own crude versions of guns, and they can always use crowbar, baseball bat, etc. to kill people. |

no there's nothing wrong with guns as long as you use them properly. |

No. If we didn't have guns, we'd have big boards with nails in them (sorry, Simpson's reference), or lots of poisons, or robots with lasers in their eyes.
People seem determined to perpetuate destruction, they will do it one way or another, and the nonexistence of guns would mean the existence of something else, equally deadly, or more so. |

No. There are more brutal types of violence, which has been a factor of humankind since there were humans. |

I don't think so because even with out guns people find way to kill people. If someone has the gull to kill someone i doubt it matters if it with a gun or some other dangerous object. People are creative so they will just find other ways to kill. |

No it wouldn't be less dangerous because man don't need guns to kill each other. You'd have to take away knives, swords, axes, rocks, cars, fire extinguishers, and even babies! |

ther were no guns when Cane killed Abel( children of Adam & Eve)RIGHT????? |
|

cyanne2ak

Nope! It wouldn't be any more dangerous either. We'd just invent other weapons to both kill and defend with. |

Its not the gun that does harm.It is the person who has the resolve to pull the trigger |

I highly doubt it. If you got rid of guns, it would be something else, like crossbows, and so on. Furthermore, it's people who use weapon that kill other people, and most the weapons in murders are illegally obtained and unregistered. How often do you hear about an Olympic sports shooter killing someone with their registered gun or a hunter- vary rarely compared to people who steal guns and use them illegally. |

NO...the world would be less dangerous if there weren't the 'slime-buckets' behind the guns! |
|

Dirty D
|
Nope because criminals would just use something else to kill people with. |

The world would be less dangerous if people didn't exist. |

I dont think the world was less dangerous without guns. People just used other weapons. Fire, knives, etc. |

no and we would still be owned by england plus im sure ppl would find another way to make problems |
|

No the danger is in the person, not the weapon. Otherwise how about baseball bats, knifes, chains and even a pillow can suffocate a person. So in my opinion it is only a violent weapon in the hands of a violent person. |

It would be less dangerous but if guns didn't exist, then police will have to use swords to protect their country. Also, it would be harder to hunt. |

Men have killed each other since the beginning of time. |

No, cuz we would still have knifes, spears, bows and arrows etc... |

i doubt it...
if guns didnt exist ppl would prolley be finding other ways to immediatly kill ppl.
besides the only thing good about guns is that they do kill ppl immediatly. It is quick and painless and i personally think that this wouldnt be a bad we to leave earth. Were all gonna die sum day and i think this way wouldnt be that bad. |

get rid of all the knives, forks, saws, axes, pointed objects, breakable items, cars, rocks, fists, ...etc
Its not a gun or bullet that kills a person
IT s the person pulling the trigger that causes the damage |

No.
Weapons have always only been as dangerous as their users!
If the guns did not exist, they would bash each other over the heads with boards :-)
If people truly want to inflict harm, they will.
It has been proven throughout the ages... |
|

Deppster

People would still kill each other. They would find different weapons to do the job like a steak knife or a rock or a shapened tree branch etc. |
|

If they didn't exist at all? Yes. But since they do exist, it would be dumb to outlaw them. If guns were outlawed, only outlaws would have guns.
I wish no weapons existed, but since they do I want the right to protect myself.
The world would be a lot safer if cars didn't exist. And if Iran, Syria and France did not exist. (I just threw France in for good measure...) |

Yea, what about those bows and arrows. Put that in the hand of an Indian and look out. |

i dunno they could always use what they were born w/their fists or got get baseball bats... |
|

RICHARD
|
So how about knives, baseball bats, sharp sticks, broken glass, a pencil, a comb with a sharp tip at the end, and a nail file? It's not the gun that's the danger, it's the fool behind it that uses it to kill for no reason. Anything can be used for a weapon. |

No, the world would be worse off...You need guns to enforce laws..imo |

alberthastings3

The world would be more dangerous....ask the people under Hitler's rule what happens when -their- guns were taken away..
The more importent question is: Would the world be more safer if everyone had a gun? Would people be robbed at gun point or have armed robberies, if the bad guys knew that they weren't the only ones packing heat? |
