You go to jail and be someone's wife. All for a stupid vacation.

Legal trouble. That is all that will happen.

If his crime was serious enough, they will extradite him. But if the cost to extradite him outweigh the seriousness of his crime, then they will not follow through and the police will let him go.

But if he should ever go back to that state (the one where he committed his crime) and they catch him, he may or may not get his parole revoked and spend all or most of the original sentence as well as additional time for violating the terms of his parole (6 months extra or more).

He is in violation of his parole. His parole may or may not be revoked when he is caught. If it is revoked, they will send him back to detention.

However, the police locally or nationally do not know he is in violation of his parole unless it is properly entered into computer systems. You need to find out 1) if there is a warrant for him to be picked up and 2) if that warrant is relayed to other states 3) is the warrant coded so that they want him bad enough to extradite him from another state.

The easiest way I know how to do that free is to make friends nice with a police employee with access to the computers. If your son is not very special or famous, his warrant will not be flagged so that the black helicopters descend on a person doing you a favor looking him up.

My uncle is on parole and I'm pretty sure that is a violation and if and when they catch him it will be back to prison for him.
