now why would the idea of shoplifiting cross your mind. im glad ur geting fined, because u deserve it. congratulations and the only thing i can think off for paying the fine is buy working somewhere to earn money for the fine

You shouldn't enter a target store. Most shoplifters if they get caught they get banned from the store until the court date. Then from there they have to pay a fine, and they are only banned for a limited amount of time (usualy) If your gardians think your punishment is unfair and would like to argue, they can set up a court hearing to try and get on better terms, you might not have to pay the fine if you argue you are mentaly unstable.

Yeah, you should pay the fine. That's what you get for stealing. I wouldn't go back to that particular Target store, but any other one should be fine. It's not like there are employees there specifically to look out for people who have been caught shoplifting. Since you're in eighth grade, I'm assuming you're a minor so no one can arrest you. But yeah, I would definitely pay the fine, if you don't, it'll only get worse. Good luck!

You know you screwed up. You are lucky that they did not call the police and press charges, then it would be handled by the Juvenile justice folks and you would be labeled.
The are correct about not being able to enter a Target store, also the fine is less than what it would cost you if this had gone to court and you had pay restitution and community service.

You did not state who the fine is to be paid to. I will tell you it needs to be paid or they will turn it over and you will be arrested.

You have no choice but to work for the money for the fine. You haven't said so, but I'm guessing that you now have a criminal record because no store can levy a fine against you for shoplifting...the the courts can.

So you won't be able to go to Target again. Can't say I blame them. I wouldn't want you back, stealing again either.

You should accept the punishment, get a job so you can pay the fine, and learn your lesson.
