yes indeed...I mean, it's just a herb. But there should be a limited amount of pot you can get like in a bar or a store :) |

The idea of outlawing a plant just seems so bizarre to me. So, I'd vote yes.
I'm surprised more conservatives aren't on that side of the equation, generally. There is no evidence it is more harmful than alcohol. The studies which assert it is a "gateway drug" are skewed. So, allowing individuals to make choices about their lifestyles would seem to comport with a conservative ideal. Strange, that. |

Yeah,sure. |

Outside the workplace because it could be dangerous or imparing in certain situations, and there should be lots more studies done and a guide book made for what to do stoned and what not to do and if your having problems how much you should smoke or not smoke to make it better and there should be a well founded instituate for helping unstable poeple without persecution |

Yes, the government can make more money by taxing it then. Nobody loses. |

Yes, I'd rather be standing next to a 'dead head' than a drunk any day!!!
ADD: I've heard a million times, that weed will lead to harder drugs...
OOOhhhh and alcohol doesn't ????
What's the percentage of marijuana deaths in comparison to alcohol deaths on our nations highways??? |
|

Denise
|
yes... the price would go down if it was legal and then the government could tax it instead of raising a different tax... look at the price of alcohol during the prohibition as opposed to now... plus I think the money that the government spends enforcing anti-marijuana laws could be put to better use elsewhere
tI was watching a show where the opposition said that the reason it shouldn't be legalized was because it is highly addicting and people would spend all their money on it, but I could easily spend all my money on shoes... should they be made illegal?
I think the bottom line here is that adults should be allowed to make their own decisions as long as they are ready to live by them. |

In parts of Europe it is legal and they really have no issues, the consumption is actually lower and their justice system is not bogged down with Petty crimes involving small amounts of pot.
I would rather see funds go to education then locking people up for trivial amounts of herb.
The number one cash crop in America is marijuana and the government would make millions off the tax, now the money goes to criminals and black market interest.
The war on drugs is a joke! |
|

Bradley
 |
well yeah its just as bad as alcohol so maybe you should be asking should alchol be illegal
but tennages and adolecents would mess around and could od on marijuana |

YES!! |

Been There~Done That!

Well, if they did it would just be something else for the Government to control and reap the benefits of.
Ya think! |

hell yes..far less harmful than alcohol or beer, and it would help so much if it was a taxed product.its about time this happened.and im not even a pot smoker. |

Either that, or severely decriminalized.
There is no rational argument to keep a plant illegal while so many other harmful things are perfectly fine.
Hell...many places add fluoride to the water supply...that **** is ultra-toxic.
Read the back of your toothpaste...it tells you to go to the hospital if you swallow more than used for brushing.
Nazi's used it to pacify their prisoners.
Marijuana is an herb, not a drug, and it should be legal.
Absolutely. |
|

Kaylaaa
 |
wellll its not as harmful as alcohol!! |
|

Bridgetlove.

H*ll yeah. |

it should of been legal decades ago.
With state controlled and state taxes on it, I'm sure california wouldn't have the problems it does today from corrupt and dishonest politicians asking us to cut our throats like Arnold has done. Just look at the damage he's managed to do to our state in such a short period of time.
Legalize it and what harm do you do? The revenue created would be a god send for every state and it's just another one of those things that like alcohol, you will have the whackadoo extremist douches protesting it. But reality is, legalizing it wouldn't harm anything or anyone any more then it already is... in fact it would probably be less harm being done if it was legal and the good that comes of it can be 10 fold then keeping it illegal. it just makes good sense |
|

BABY MOMMA:)
 |
Yes but should have the same rules as beer |
|

RuTHLess
 |
yeah it will creat millions of jobs and as long as we out an age limit on it and things rules to regulate the use of it we should plus its more safer than alcohol!! |
|

It doesn't actually do anybody any harm and there have been no deaths attributed to marijuana. I think it's useful for medicinal purposes, not entirely sure about recreational... someone convince me! |
|

EcpPunk
 |
Absolutely. Legalize it and i'll advertise it.
It a plant, Acetaminophen(tylenol) has cause more harm to humans than weed ever has. Just look it up.
No more drug cartel murdering people for weed, because the government could control it.
It's less deadly than the booze which kills 1000's of people every year.
The taxes gained from it would fix alot of economic woes |
|

If marijuana was legalized, there would be more room in jails for the actual criminals. |
|

Stando

its proven to do less damage than beer |

GREAT QUESTION!!!!
Absolutely. It certainly is less harmful than alcohol and there are so many physical ailments that it relieves. It is almost unheard of that any violent crime has ever been perpetuated by a marijuana user (especially when compared to those done by alcoholics).
It relieves nausea as well as anxiety disorders. It has also been a godsend to people who are going through chemotherapy in helping them regain their appetite.
As a whole, marijuana use is more beneficial than it is harmful.
It should be regulated however. And there should be steep penalties to anyone who is driving under its influence. |
