HELL NO |

AcetheRace
 |
Yes I do but they can only be sold to those 18 and over cause I wouldn't want the children to be smoking that stuff, marijuana IMO is nowhere near as bad as alcohol.
Plus the jails would be alot less crowded if marijuana was legal |

yes might as well.the government has been giving it to 12 people every month since the 1970's 200 pre rolled joints in a tin can.Only 5 people still recieve this supply this very day.If you knew someone that was very sick and this medicine helped that sick person and the government said well we can give this free medicine to 30 people but the rest will have to suffer how would u feel?
not to mention did u know the CIA used to supply the Usa with its cocaine? |

Yes. In short:
1. It's all natural, not a combination of cooked chemicals known to damage the human body.
2. It's less dangerous for you than alcohol, which is perfectly legal.
3. The government could tax the crap out of it and make a lot of revenue. In this economy, they need a source of income, and they could open up a lot of "agricultural" jobs in that sector. :-) Economic stimulus! |

The only reason it isn't is that America doesn't make the best, therefore wouldn't make profit.
so, YES legalize it!!! |

Yes.
The gov't has been fighting the "war" on drugs for fifty years now and where has it gotten us? More people than ever using it and drug cartels in Mexico killing people by the thousands.
Nice war.
We lost.
Legalize it and start utilizing the IRS for something productive, for a change: tax marijuana and tax it like we do alcohol or tobacco. The government could finally get some real income (instead of all "out-go") on the drug, some semblance of control over the sources and distribution system AND we could regulate quality, safety and THC content. Is that what anti-drug guys are afraid of?
It's time my country grew up and joined the likes of, oh, Canada in our attitude towards pot. |

Yes, I don't smoke it nor exactly agree with people who do it alot but I believe it's no more of a depressant than alcohol. It should be taxed and regulated by the same laws and age limit as alcohol. |
|

BIKER DUDE
 |
I think that it should be for personal use. I used to smoke when i was young and don't really care for it any more. I do know a lot of people that do. I feel that it should be legal for personal use and you should be allowed to grow a reasonable amount for your self for personal consumption on your own property. This would eliminate a lot of the problems with Mexico. I do not believe that it should be government run as alcohol is. The government has ruined enough things and taxed us enough. |

Yes of course, if its not legalized, then cigarettes and alcohol need to be outlawed because they are way more harmful, so all u F*ckin hipocrits that drink alcohol and say weed should be illegal, just look at what u do...u never hear of "high barfights", "weed overdoses" and any othe the other bad things associated with alcohol |

There is no physical proof that marijuana causes any sort of brain damage.
I know plenty of hippies that are completely fit in the mind.

Plus, medical marijuana is already legal so why shouldn't normal marijuana use? |

Yes for Medical purposes only
However I do feel that marijuana should be decriminalized in the US like it is in Canada and I think the marijuana laws should be the same federally rather than various laws state by state like for example
A first offense charge for up to 2 oz of posession should be a $200-400 fine and it won't go on your criminal record
A second offense charge for up to 2 oz of posession should be doubling the fines of your first offense and it still won't go on your criminal record
A third offense charge for up to 2 oz of posession should be a maximum of 60 days in jail with fines ranging up to $2000 |
