Look for more jobs.

Look in the classified section of your newspaper, especially the Sunday edition.

Find a newspaper store that has newspapers from other cities & look in their classified section.

You can subscribe to just that kind of stuff.

There are tons of on-line places that match job applicants with employers seeking jobs.

Check the yellow pages for employment agencies ... they will charge a percentage of the job they find for you, like 20% of your wages for 6 months.

Periodically improve your resume.

Plan on spending 80 hours a week at working on finding a job. Finding a new job is like two full time jobs.

Update your resume, put on your best interviewing clothes and go to a temporary service. Talk with them... tell them what you can do, what you'd like to do and then when they have work for you ... show up... on time... dressed appropriately... and do a good job whatever you do. They'll keep sending you out on assignments, you'll be bringing in a paycheck and many companies end up hiring temps full-time because they did such a good job as a temp. Many even start out with the understanding that it's a temp-to-perm job.

It may not be what you want right this minute... but it's employment and experience you can put on a resume.

Create your own job. What do you like to do? If you are a good typist, think about transcribing. Start a dog walking service. Start a service to run errands or stand in line for people. Start a service to do motor vehicle work for people (most folks hate to take off a day to go stand in lines at motor vehicles.)

You are limited only by your imagination. Instead of can't, what can you do? Focus on that and something will come to you.

What do you like? What are you good at? Think of those two things while considering a job. Look on the internet or in a newspaper to see available jobs and ask yourself those questions. Hope you find a job!!

Get any job, while you are working, get a skill. there are correspondence courses, online courses, and other things available to do on your spare time. Increase your skills, your knowledgebase, and keep looking.

A job is better than "the" job if "the" job is unavailable to you.

Keep your expenses down
Keep making the most of the free time you have which you will lose when you do start working
Keep a daily routine - some time job hunting, some time exercising, some time socialising, some time learning. That way you will hopefully be able to keep perspective on things.
